Don't be silly no-one is placing a SL that wide

That's just the price alert indicator I use - if I have nothing off interest I want alerted then I move it far out the way so it doesn't trigger.

bought ozzie for a scalp, beautifull 2m-beartrap, buytrigger is 2m-PB dipping into demand and closing above S/R

bought ozzie again after closing scalp, 5m-QM, entry 10m-PB, also note that ozzie was spiking up while dropping ie. supply consumption / compression

Fek, stopped out on my remaining position, don't seem to have any luck with my remaining positions as of lately ....................

I thought I'd share a few trades with you guys.

Gold gave out a nice entry yesterday as it made a pullback towards a small supply area visible on LTFS.

Here's todays trade.

Ha, I really didn't like that EJ setup - much preferred the CHFJPY one, but cancelled my order when price missed by a smidge and moved to FLS...was a mistake as didn't see the distribution that was going on and price duly came back had a 'proper' test before moving back to FLS again.

Only trades for me today were an ACAD FTB short and am currently in an EURGBP FTB short.

That for me is the FLS - that SR flip and I don't see any great reason to be holding this one overnight, I am an intraday trader for the most part.

Unlike ACAD I do see a reason to be holding onto my EG short - it of course hasn't hit the FLS yet (that's if it does) @ 0.8046, but based on the compression I have a lower TP but will be taking some profit and tightening SL if 46/47 is hit overnight.

EDIT: I will also add that there is AUD data release overnight and I wouldn't want price hovering near my entry or SL near that time - chance for increased spreads (especially with Oanda) and slippage is material and I'm not staying awake to 'watch' either - there is a time for trading and a time for resting after all.

I believe you could of held on to the EG position a little bit longer, IMO. There's a clean TL (ascending) that already had 3 touches on it. A fourth approach normally means a break.

However, a retest of this TL is very plausible as well as a return to the supply area.

I did hold onto it longer, but based on the Spain rating cut news - more common sense trading than anything else.

I personally don't use TL's that much in my trading unless a) they are very clear and b) they are over a short distance. Find them too subjective and too feed dependant myself but each to their own etc.

Update, have banked some profit, now SL is above the M15 DBD that formed and has been tested (M15 and H1 TF charts below).

Final TP is a daily demand area but plenty of bumps / hurdles along the way so will watch PA but prepared to give this time and space to see what it can do.
