I hear you there. The stuff he took to his grave. He was one of those types where if he saw that you weren't really studying on how to do it, he would leave you hanging. That's how he and his son had the fall out. But this whole "where price meets time," geometrical shapes, fractals, etc... just really fascinates me. And how they all went to the pyramids in Giza to learn this mathematical stuff. The pyramids just blew me away when I was stationed in the Sinai Peninsula. And how they line up with the stars, etc...... Just amazing.

I have decided to help euro overcome its problem a little. Removing my sls from longs.

Yeah, i read about that. But the pyramids in Giza were actually based on Fibonacci calculations. Gann only did a study into fibo as part of his lifetime's work. So we could say that Gann researched Fibo but he brought it to a more advanced level by including the timing of his trades.

Good point, because as we speak, I'm reading some good reads on Fib ratios and such, by Larry Pesavento, Trade what you see. Here's an example of what I got after reading up on Gann and how price has different angles in regards to S/R. With this picture, just by connecting tops in a downtrend and bottoms in an uptrend, 1.2727 is showing a good buy for me, "if" and "when" price gets there.

Another thing to keep in mind next time, notice the trend line connecting the bottom in an uptrend, a lot of traders will put a buy limit right around the bottom of that trend line, with a tight sl, then they get stopped out. That's why I'll put my buy limit on the horizontal line, (where price meets time), with a tight sl and not get stopped out. Just something to keep in mind next time price meets there.
