That's a way up.. What's YOUR reason? Do you have a fib level there? I have a level at 1.2923? Better to over than under estimate the retrace!
Even the worst trade can close with profit. Just give it time.

We could definitely see the 2850-25 zone in the short term longer term still unsure though

well seems like you are interested to hear the full story about it, i made my trend line on my chart and then i made short with a big amount and i want it in Euro/$ and then i realized after i started to realize that i bought the wrong pairs and i bought by mistake GBP/$ but thanks god i didnt lose and thats what i call luck!

well my 1st fib level at 2888 second is at 2940
thats on the 4H chart

USD strengthened broadly on safe haven buying Tuesday, as fears of a global recession and ongoing concerns about euro-zone finances weighed on markets. IMF cut its 2012 global-growth forecast to 3.3%. "With global recession risks, it's certainly a seller's market for the euro," said Quin Kelley, managing director of Michigan's Holland Global Trading. EUR/USD was at 1.2884 late Tuesday vs 1.2968 late Monday, the GBP/USD was at 1.6002 vs 1.6026, the USD/JPY was 78.25 vs 78.32, while the AUD/USD was at 1.0205 vs 1.0191. The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index ended the session at 69.96 vs 69.73 late Monday. Stocks tumbled after a disheartening economic growth forecast from the IMF put investors on the defensive; the Dow fell 0.8%, while the Nasdaq dropped 1.5%. US Treasurys reclaimed some ground coming off a long holiday weekend; five-year yield fell 0.5 bps to 0.662%, while the 10-year yield fell 1.9 bps to 1.713%. Gold futures fell as a strong USD weighed on prices; December Comex gold fell 0.6% to $1,765.00 a troy ounce. November Nymex crude rose 3.4% to $92.39 a barrel as traders overlooked forecasts of economic weakness and focused on burgeoning tensions in the Middle East.

AUD/USD H4, strong bearish channel looks like a good short entry

personally I won't enter it as 1.0200 is a bit too low as it is not unknown that the Aussie Dollar has the potential to go to 1.10. Weighing up the probabilities and the expected profit/loss, I will be going long again at the bottom of this, whereever it may be.. [should be soon.]

look at H4. Large downward movement, small retrace, large downward movement, currently small retrace. Now a boring old "trade the trend" individual would consider selling. Tell me if im wrong, but it isnt really showing any bullish signals.
Its very bearish at the moment. But the final battle for 1.2760 will occur during today's London session. If bulls fail tonight, it may hit 1.2760 during this week. I think the best strategy would be to sell rallies after they subside.
