I agree...Asia will move it to test a level and then go the other way many times. So I would not consider it buying up but simply moving away from resistance to make a "run" at LL. Markets at open tend not to buy or sell right at the trends bottom or top but move away to a another support or resistance just to retest what it just moved away from as you know. London does the back up and sprint all the time. Usually Asia ranges most of the session. If they make a new low or high it is usually late in the Asian.
ok if i understand u well, it means asia will take it to a point away from london session then range throughout asian session before letting go end of session which will see either a rally or a dip near london open.?

no... Basically Asia usually ranges. Most of the time like right now we have a double low at 60. If it doesn't go lower Asia will move the market away from lets say 60 to 75-83 or even 900. Then it will run back at the low or slowly move that way until the session is late and Europe is starting up. I rarely think the Asian will make a major move for a new high or low early. Sometimes with big news they do but without it they usually don't.

can't tell you how many times I trades against the trend during the Asian session and them reverse away from a new low or how for the daily trend.

yep and so does London. Not sure why everyone thinks BB only do long term trades. To much money and PA to not make money short term. All you have to do is look at opening session data and it will show you.
That is like watching a underwear pattern and saying well London went one way and the US went another but the BB held on to those trades from earlier to watch profit disappear. Nope!

Sonic will even tell you that a lot of times Asia does one thing just to have London reverse it which is why they don't as a rule trade the Asian session that and lack of volume.

just look at charts and place a vertical line at the opening session price for previous days and mark previous lows and highs for the day. Then look at the daily trends etc... Then look at where the price is and if it is in a range or going to make a new trend and break major resistance. Asia rarely leads the charge early if at all. IF it does it is usually after midnight US Eastern time. Use a 1hr chart.

so am going to have 3 vert lines one for opening ,low and high for the number of days i'll be using right?

no just one vertical for the opening of the session. Have two horizontal to indicate high or low for the day. Though I am mainly talking about new lows as in major trend new lows or highs not necessarily daily new low or highs.. As I said IF they do it is late after midnight US eastern which is usually after a major news day by the US/LONDON sessions. Not that they don't but it's not common.


Example: Asia is not going to break the new lows of 1.2800 and stay there for a continuation of the down trend to new lows. The last low happened before asia during aussie open and was quickly reversered to test the top. Which was the start of a new week and month.

I always mark Frankie opening+ London opening and close + NY opening and close. And then I draw restangles as imaginary candles of London and NY sessions - it helps to determine bulishness or bearishness in ranging periods:

I do that as well at times. LOL!!! It works well. I do that when always on a small chart. It helps visually quite a bit.

hmmm this is serious...do you do this during trading or before frankie?
cos am wondering and do you reading the overall trend or u read dem per session?

Didnt understood the question.. Intraday I use London opening as a pivot and keeping in mind yesterdays opening/closing levels.
Frankie hour often ranges in sensitive areas - testing recent peaks and closes, often it gives me clue how early traders position them self right before London.

Whole idea of sessions as separate candles started from confusion about D1 and H4 candles which are seen quite differently across the globe) I'v seen proffesional anlysts/traders using three different H4 counting points so I gave up that time frame and started to mark London and NY sessions as day candles
