in regards to upward manipulation of the euro i completely agree that there appears to be no real incentive to do so.

that being said most times an eu talking head speaks they send the euro higher, which makes me wonder why they would continue to speak in such a manner knowing the effect they will have on the currency.

bernanke speaks and sends the dollar down, which most of us agree is the point.

draghi speaks and sends the euro higher.......

maybe IF there is something going on at such high levels we cant understand what they are doing because we dont know what they are trying to achieve.

enough of my rambling, i turn the forum back over to people who know what they are talking about...

For divergence correction I normally look at daily/weekly/monthly. Lower TFs might play out but reverse afterwards but for scalping that's good.

From what I see since RBA cut rate, the AUD is unwinding to EUR/AUD. For me the safer bet is when AUD/USD @ 1.01 or parity. I could be wrong though.

PA yesterday said EVERYTHING! No reason not to go down and down big. Main thing that had to do with it was the beginning of the month and what happaned on SUnday. Never even tested .28 or 40 again. Heck they would not even let you near 75 yesterday in US session.

are you saying long au at 1.01 0r 1.0?

i have au bouncing from 1.0166 but 1.0183 could be the end for now...lets see what happens...but if it breaks below 1.016x we will go to at least 0.9668

if that is the case we go lower we will see 1.22 eu
