Yes until it's breaks up or down, it's seems to be the "safest" way to trade.
Sellers hit the market inside the 1,295x...should have shorted it but i didn't have the guts to do it.

If they decide to be more agressive we should see 1,284x today.

I have been waiting for 2835 or 2817 in order to go long. I was hoping that would have happened before ECB and Spainish bonds today which have the potential to lift.

going long is worth if it crosses 1.30 hurdle.

I actually saw your post yesterday and i was thinking seriously to close down my position which was 6% in profit , however i took the decision that these movements are normal correction and price will consume its normal course going down ... But it turns out i was wrong and had to close it in 4% in loss !

Hit and run , would have worked perfectly - which is something i will be taking note of , when the same conditions cloud over us once again

Sucks to say but all these moves in pair are crap after bottom of the current hour.

Thin liquidity in pair and other markets (oil, stock indexes) not moving really.

Well, gold does some.

Spike up on EUR. AUD and XAU probably from Asian markets in anticipation of ECB action. Interesting that AUD dropped back down.

I am on sidelines until after Draghi speaks. The markets have been rather dull lately, but that could be a signal that we may see a very volatile session after the news. I will look to short if he disappoints, though I think we will see a big spike up and some false breaks before another big move.

Doubt we'll see reach it before ECB, but spike down then up is a possibility.

It's interesting to hearing people say that, in order to disappoint there must be an expectation of something in the first place and I am not sure anyone has quantified that this time. Last time it was clear that expectation was to confirm what actions would be taken, but this time what are we expecting, any ideas?

If it is confirmation that they have been buying bonds, then that is a double edge sword because the need to do so is bad and the doing so is good.....

The surprise might be that they were buying Spanish bonds this morning

edit: after all yields are down and bid/cover ratio up so a good result showing good demand

Sorry to hear about that loss. Lesson learned i guess, but it happened to me as well in the past (and recently). Good profit ended up with loss.

At least you are still here, and 4% is "easy" to recover dude

"It seems possible that this risk-off bias pulls down currencies like the Aussie, Canada and Scandies against the dollar and the yen, but the euro stays steady, allowing the euro to rise against these currencies as well," Standard Bank says. The bank notes that steady flow of increasingly worse indicators is keeping the market focused on the possibility of easing surprises from major central banks, although it doesn't expect any steps from either the ECB or the BOE later in the day. The BOE decides on rates at 1100 GMT, while the ECB meets at 1145 GMT.
