we are coming up on the London close, the daytraders will exit their longs.
If you want to get out and are short and price is not rocketing to new highs but only testing a prior high, well what you choose is up to you.
Most times with a final surge it is over for the near term.

But i have no way to know what your risk parameters are.

Just keep in mind that predator funds exploit short term price and feed on the retail trade. But 15 minute chart is a volatility trade not swing or position

add:The market has been fairly range bound so other then some unannounced backroom deal that only a few know about the range should hold today.

Dow is dropping and the EUR is going north....... Dropped almost 100 points from its high.

thanks for the heads up...was actually trading off 15mins and as u said its volatile considering the low news circumstance of today..
so foto, if am right it means
1,look for your entries and exits on higher TF like 1hr
2, trade off lower TF.

AM I RIGHT?

fxcode, all i can tell you is what i do. I look for major S/R on higher time frames, if and when price gets there, out come the short term charts to fine tune the entry. My stops are based upon the higher time frame.
maybe am not the worst scalper but that is not what is traded by me.

There are some fine scalpers on this thread if that is your game.
my brain works too slowly and doesn't function well on the small T.F's

It never a sure thing. The last move up could be just to fill order. 1.2962 is previous strong resistance.

The assumption is that the euro would rally because peripheral spreads would narrow on buying by the ECB.

Would the rally be of the knee-jerk, reflex- variety or one with some legs?
Id anticipate the rally to be short-lived. Most rescue-rallies in the euro area are.

Why?

Because there is always someone left to rescue. After Spain it will be Italy, after Italy it will be France. Soon there will be as many countries receiving bailouts as there are countries financing the bailouts….

Only Greece has seen a debt restructuring as a result of its bailout program, so to my mind, there are only two outcomes. Failures of the bailout programs to solve the problem, or a true fiscal union in which all euro area countries share the debt of the others.

At present, Europe is not close to doing what is needed. It is unwilling to either bite the bullet and restructure or to swallow the debts of others. Until they do, it’s all “extend and pretend.”

H1 200 CCI overbought zone, 1.2966 is the High and now lets have a ride down added 2nd Short @ 1.2960.

Well my position cancellation point is @ 2970...so I think yes she has had her tantrum & south side here we come..probably a slow grind down thru the Asian session or maybe a quick reversal for the day? Better then I can get some sleep... TWT
