Not that it matters much, but for me the daily trend is down, and has been since Sep 20. The even longer term trend is up.
Ignored
Yes, I see that too, but I also see, from the last green candle on the daily chart, that this could be the beginning of an uptrend ... or it could be the beginning of consolidation between 1.2810 and 1.2950 (estimates) ... or it could be nothing more than a fake test of the highs and will be followed very soon by further downward movement.

Even if you get the direction right, you still have to keep from getting stopped out first.

Which means if you set a 30 pip SL, you have to be right about the turnaround by at least 30 pips. If you set a 10 pip SL, you only have a 10 pip margin for error.

So even if you get the direction right, you still might get stopped out if you don't enter at a precise time.

Doesn't moneybookers take a large % of that when withdrawing or depositing?

Would be much cheaper to use a bank wire and do it all at once
Ignored
Not at all rags. Moneybookers takes about 2% I think. Yet the reason why I take money from my account into moneybookers. Is so I can send it to my binary broker, or I can put it in another exness account if need be. My bank charges me 100 usd just receive a wire. So i ONLY withdraw once I have about 3k to 5k in my moneybookers account.

Yup on avg 20 points a pip. Which on an avg day is about 5% of my total account. Today 20 dollars a pip is about 2% of my total account.

So to protect your first order why not using a pending order right on your STOP LOSS heading in the opposite direction?

Very well said... I remember 2 weeks ago when EUR reached 13165 someone mentioned he was buying at that level because the trend was up. Although at the time he bought it had retraced about 30 points from his entry The following week eur retraced 300 points from his entry. I am pretty certain he has added more Long positions, yet the reality is he is in red big time. That was for following THE TREND, and using high time frames.
Everyone knows I am bias to only using 1m time frames. I mean it works really well for me. Although many people have claimed...

Nothing wrong with 1min chart Use it myself. Don't use it alone though, as I need to see the bigger picture too. But for fine tuning entries and early management of a position, 1 min is great.

They had a guy here who turned 200 usd into 4100 usd in exactly 1 week trading binary options. Only using the 1m option and touch no touch option. Does anyone remember his name?

If you get the direction right but are stopped out first due to what is essentially NOISE, then the last thing you want to do is enter in the opposite direction. All that would do is result in TWO losses back-to-back, which is essentially the most common way of losing for traders using a stop loss.

For traders that don't use a SL, there will generally only be one loser, and it is known as a margin call.

Yep of course. Still requires great skill. I'm not saying it would make someone profitable. But it might reduce their losses on really bad days.
