They do not control the market moves. It's an indication, early warning sign that momentum might shift in the market because there's weakness. That's all.

You know what I mean though

Obviously banks and institutions control the markets, if you can even say anyone can, because even if they can for a while, they cant for very long. The market is too big. Unless everyone is on one side in which case price will really move..
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.

I agree. It's a great way to seek out turning points as it is the only leading indication available to us retail traders.

Never underestimate the power of Ctrl+P; they'll QE forever and debasing their own currency shows that 'they' can control the market, even unilaterally.

I also realized bollinger bands often get hit by price when divergences happen as well. So they are sort of like a visual indicator for it, but theres no confirmation unless you see the actual divergence

by the way i sold 1/2 my silver position @ 34.50, weekly hidden bearish divergence

it needs to come down a bit, so that should weigh on USD as well

add: knew i should have gone long 05, looking like it wants to make its retrace now
