I've been with FXCM for quite a while now and I have noticed a huge (and I mean HUGE) difference between 2008/09 and now. The customer service team and dispute resolution team are straightforward and very responsive. As such, I have even gone as far as recommending them. They are certainly NOT a bucket shop and never have been. I think they just blamed technology when it suited them, but all that has changed now and they are more inclined to give their clients the benefit of doubt. In the last 5 years I have filed 7 disputes with them and in every single case I got a favorable decision.

Did you make any trading decisions today based on the quarter end flow knowledge that you may have ? We're you long the G/U based on the article's suggestion you would already be under water. AUD's lower than it's open even though it showed the most bullishness. Same with CAD.

However, if you find any value in it then maybe you can enlighten us ? Otherwise, it's just a theory with no practical use.

sure they are. i took a lot of eur/usd risk off the table this very morning for that exact reason. i dont want to be caught short when temporary sentiment is going the opposite of my monthly/weekly position. i'd rather eat a loss at 2910 against profits from 3000 lots and re-enter at a superior level.

one thing i dont do is make a trade based on an article's recommendation. generally speaking, it is good to observe others and listen but to form your own opinion. mostly importantly, to admit when you're wrong and walk away.

I find the article good. And I do not have any knowledge on this but I think to make any decission based comment we have to wait for Daily Close.

Bono, tap 3.30% Oct 2014 Bono, and tap 5.50% Jul 2017, on Thursday.
Indicative size to be announced on Monday.

I used to be with them but left because of the way they handled slippage. Now I'm in the process of getting back with them.

I wont recommend them because I think that you should do you due dilligence youself (and I guess thats what you are).

I also know of some people that have very large trading accounts there so I feel they are pretty well capitalized.
