We won't see interventions until levels hit around low 76s...and or the price I remember correctly from last year 75.6. IMO

We should see market reactions when New York opens. I have noticed this. It opens in about 47 min. I would say around 1030-11 we should see the reaction. IMO

I think the Spain is more of a concern than the US it seems... This would suggest to me that the Yen strength is indeed artificial, at dangerous levels, and any sort of intervention by the BoJ would sky rocket the thing.

The more of a concern was unemployment number in US, which occured better than expected, which anihilated the rest of bad data. But you are right about artificial strenght of yen, it is a typical buble, it will blow some day

EU’s Rehn: Spain’s Reform Plan “Responds To Country-Specific Recommendations And Goes Even Beyond Them In Some Areas”

The way I read that is, Spanish government is pulling all the stops to avoid a bailout. Markets are responding to the initial positive moves by Spain.

Soon they will realize that the bailout is inevitable and wake up to reality

of course nobody cares about BOJ, Azumi talked about devaluing JPY and bond buying 2 days ago, however the market is moving against. the matter is economic data on Japan is disappointing and yet JPY is gaining.

I agree. This is happening for quite sometime and as I observed since last one year, they never interfere when they gave hint or when the market is bad. They interfered in the mid of the week when every one lost hopes of interference.
I got burnt a few times

Nikkei about historical low, manufacturer hard times(for instance Sony rating cut to BB, Sharp employment cut for 10000 people), besides tension between Japan and China, Negative core CPI, adding all together there must be nothing in going Long for JPY, that is exactly what I call puzzling when I look at its pairs.

At the moment we have demolished most technical resistance lines... there is nothing to stop it, bar direct BoJ intervention, from falling to the 76.50 area.
