True, true. Small accounts are suitable just for learning. Or maybe for master scalpers with extreme leverages.

StopGuessing has a clue about that. I would love to learn his system. But 2000 leverage is sick. 5 pips and you are out...

Tricky friday an my longs all hit,you have to laugh as everyone was talking it down.

I will go long again 129000 to 129500 etc
These random trading patterns,very hard to pick the wave or dip.

The pattern is a bit similar than it was between 25th of Sept and yesterday on the 15M chart. I think we'll maybe see a new H&S formation.
Short: TP 1.2850, SL: 1.2930

Maybe in short term. Actually I'm not buying this theory. Big companies have sick profits but is this good for the currency? I don't know, on the other hand war is expensive for the state but very profitable for big corporations.

If you look at eurusd chart since 2002 and usdchf...I don't know man.

lol... Not 100% true my friend. Say your using 2000:1 leverage. You double your principle with every 5 point profit. Of course if you lose 5 points you will only be in red of your total account the amount your invested. So in other words.

If your using 1% of your account on 2000:1 leverage. For your account to get margin called your position would have to go in red 500 points.

If you use 50% of your total account on 2000:1 leverage then a 10 point loss will margin call you... Makes sense?

No one on these forums should be judged by the balance in their trading accounts. If one can convert a $100,000 account into $4,000,000, one starting with $100 can also make tens of thousands.

Still you have to be very well capitalised even if you are risking 1% of your initial account with leverages that high.

That is theoretically possible, but anyone who has traded for longer than a week, knows from experience that the account would get tanked sooner than later.

I'd be willing to bet that the amount of forex traders who traded a $100 account to tens of thousands is extremely rare to none.

Quite sure at best it's demo. Even with laser like entries, it's not unusual to get 20 pip spikes against any position.

He doesn't require 20 pip moves...that's the entire point. His leverage allows him to get out for quick scalps, making the same % that we require a 40 pip or larger move to achieve.

I don't know about traders and trading, but a business that I started with $100 turned into a million dollar business with no additional investment. Think I mentioned this in one of my earlier posts.

One should never underestimate his/her capabilities and that of the nature.

Well yes when you think about it. Yet think of the advantage of using high leverage. What is the difference between using 2000:1 leverage and 50:1 leverage with 1% equity? The fact is using the 2000:1 leverage allows you to have 20 times more free capital compared to 50:1 leverage should you want to buy more lots. = ) That is what many people over look with high leverage.

High leverage doesnt make your blow your account. Poor entries and trading bias is what makes high leverage seem dangerous. I for one use high leverage very well. Only because I focus on pin point entries.

Kumo you seem rather pessimistic. I think if we had to do a contest about who can earn more % wise. I would run so many circles around you, that you may just pass out. The reality is my account is as LIVE as it can be. Not to mention I withdraw profits DAILY. As almo mentioned, what you make with a 40 point profit, I make with just 2 points. Even if my account is small, people respect % profit, not just points. Only because those who gain on avg 100 points profit, has a draw down of atleast half. And if your closing trADES at 100 point profit, thats about the daily range of EUR.USD so your holding your position over night atleast. Trading price action is a skill, your not guessing.
