I sometimes use a method of doubling the opposite postion in my other account because I know it is going the other way but I don't want to lose value simply because I know it is a short term retrace on a longer term trade. SO I double the size of the other to make it worth keeping my other position.

One Daily green candle is enough to change the sentiment. I have seen the projection till 2016 and calling it a Bull Market before the PA started declining. However, I simply love to stick with text book. I am careful about PA and I know there are people with Money who does Sentiment Analysis.

I know 1 + 1 = 2, but don't understand how this EUR/CAD + Rally = Intervention.

It is ok Ken, stick with what you believe. I only find out weak PA to employ my Trade. I can go against the crowd with my system.

Looking at the monthly candle I still think it can go either way, but if we are to end bullish I think she will fist bounce off the daily 200 sma. This will still give PA enough time.

Yeah maybe tomorrow during Asian session things might change though. 1.2863 is being defended for hours now. Sleepy.

If candle have less than 50% of its body in it - its bearish. Especially in big TF's

We all have our own theories about why price does what it does. One thing i look for is repeat events. Think it makes trade sense because if something happens enough then when a situation sets up you have a decent idea what are the results.

This morning before it happened i made a post about what the outlook for today might be. Since i do not for a moment believe that the Euro/USD is a freely traded pair but is highly subject to intervention to artificialy keep it elevated, on that premise asked myself what does an intervention do to other Euro based pairs. So i started to bring up other pairs such as the EURO/CAD in the same time frame (15 minute bar) just to see what happened. I started to notice that during the reversals from down to up in the EURO/USD there were many times when the down leg should have continued but simply stopped for no reason at all.

What, does this pair have a mind of its own or is something else going on?
I also noticed that the USD/CAD which was headed up with the strengthening USDX would stop as well and just reverse and the price action by my read just got hit with huge sell orders. Was there all of a sudden an event occuring in Canada i didn't know about, checked the calendar, not a thing. So what could cause such correlation between the EURO/USD and the USD/CAD? Then also started to see that the EURO/CAD would react stronger then would be expected, not possible unless there was another unseen force being applied.

Next question, well if the USDX was strenthening and then there was out of nowhere some selling which was always lead with some pa that was designed to use trader stop losses to reverse the course of a pair, thought hm maybe the price can tell me when intervention is occuring before it clobbered my short Euro position. We all have been subject to some intense short squeezes as Euro bears, when if ever was there a squeeze favorable for long USD?

We also know that CB's constantly shuffle funds all over the world, electronic funds transfer allows instantaneous unlimited money flows on demand. Where it originates, some people thing the BIS is at the heart of global coordination, maybe so. Certainly everyday almost without fail the USD is given a shove down to boost the equities market in the last two hours of the day. Things like these confirm to my mind we no longer have free markets, but controled markets with the express purpose of convincing most people that this is not a depression, just an solvable inconvience. BOJ has bought equities for years to prop up Tokyo that is no secret. With the current administration and its philosophy i think a high probability event.

So you can ask is this guy just seeing things or what. So i refer you back to this mornings post. What happened at 8 am est. I saw the EURO/CAD pop upwards just as the EURO/USD overnight downtrend stopped dead in its tracks. I wrote before it happened that if that occured then the defenders of the faith were taking action. Would submit to you that the day played out pretty much as i said.

I did stay in because the sellers were agressive and following price rather then waiting for a retrace. It takes a lot of money to control the currency markets and in a trend the "Defenders" can only intefere with trend progress.

This makes sense to me, hope it makes some sense to you as well. But we all trade what we believe, whether or not it is as we think, who cares as long as you make pips. People trade indicators, would venture few understand the math, but hey ho when it hits the magic number open the trade. Not much different then what is presented.

50% rule is just a part of the context. There are many levels which are preferable for bulls or bears..Many talk about 2750 - if we close below that - some panic selling may occur..

All depends on the bastards now... My guess is that in friday some of the big-ass E/U longs may be closed to prevent exposure to possible Spanish or Greece related weekend risk events..

Ah I didn't read the first part of your previous posts.

I have long U/CAD and it's looking like a losing battle for now because during risk-off it strengthen as safe haven. When risk-on it also rally due to crude oil price increases.

am off to get some sleep, market is pretty dead.
