i didnt take this short trade because price made HH. What do you think about it?

This is a good example of a trade setup that can be viewed in a different light depending on what is more important to each trader (see RJ's comments)...
Opening trade against the trend increases the risk, but as always they say, 'will have to stop and reverse'. So personally confirm that the setup was correct also included SL in 6150 about to pick up only 10-15 pips. Then we saw that it would be more generous, but with hindsight ..... Just when captain Loss of this type, I say that the market has done so well that Genesis though, I think the best system seen, it is not foolproof, so you must acettare.

I took the long GU, the candles on H1 and divergence along with the H1 stoch coming out of OS persuaded me it was higher probability but I had my stop loss below the spike down, took a round 30 on it. I'm afraid I still can't look at the stoch like RJ does, that takes a lot of experience with it

I think if you were to countertrade, it would be better not to go into the M15 timeframe to trade, as it is more likely (not definitely) countertrend trades are shorter in length.

If you look back at your entry pint on the M5 TF chart, M5 stoch was very OB and flat to down, and M15 already near OB if not touching the 80 line.

I understand the divergence was observed in M15, but that doesn't mean you have to trade there.

I took this one short too, but closed it out as the tape didn't continue to confirm the downward direction. Got out as it went halfway back to my SL

Was in AU short just now, but the tape turned against the trade so I closed it early.

Check my analysis?

Pros:

 

  1. long term trend is down (by zooming out)
  2. tape all red
  3. M15 stoch pointing down
  4. M5 stoch down


Cons:

 

  1. H1 stoch is pointing up (so maybe intermediate trend is considered up?)
  2. bouncing around S1 (how did I not see that?)

Anything else I should have seen?

Olivia always says that when you enter a trade, take a screenshot of it. If you would be proud to show it off on the thread, then it's probably a good trade. If you are embarrassed by it, then you need to re-examine your entry.

She says something like that!!

As you have said, S1 was right there, also by the time you took the trade the M5 stoch had been oversold, came out again and then back in, not a good place to take it.

Easiest way to show the trade on chart is just drag the trade from account history to your chart. That way it is easy to do and no extra tools needed. By doing it that way it also displays the TP and SL on your chart. You can see examples from my charts.

Also, if you look at the 15m genesis matrix, only T3 was a showing a short signal. TVI, CCI and GHL are still showing a long signal.
