Yes it worked. I would have been taking at least half off here at the 50sma and Sl to BE

Would have been +17 pips at my entry, or +12 if you'd entered after the close of the candle that crossed.

mmm.. I'm beginning to wish I had taken that trade now! My SL would not have been hit, and I would've taken more off here at +27 pips and left the rest to run. Oh well, better safe than sorry.

grrr.. and I would be closing the last part here +83pips... That is really annoying when you think you are being disciplined by sitting it out, and of course that's when you miss the home run!

I hear that bro......

But back in day I would of tried to go short and then end up losing all my weekly pips.

But looking at the charts now....

Aqua line is 1hr 62ema.

Today, I would of probably been looking long only. That entry above 1.2990 area would of been good for about 40 pips, but then that close near my 100sma and the 50% fibo would of had me lock in some pips with a possible close. Then reverse......

The week ending fight for 1.3000.

Oh well, there is always next week.

Some good signals today on 15min - here are 4 possible trades shown by arrows, I only took two of them.

No.1 and no.3 are buying/selling at the 4hr support I have at 1.2930 (dotted cream line) that later becomes resistance. The previous candles failed to close below/above so you buy next candle or on touch if you prefer.

No.2 was a 35/50 cross and reverse at a good supply level and the 200ma- I was long from no.1 and exited after the short signal, but didn't reverse

No.4 was a buy when the candle failed to close below the PPA wicks to the left at 95 (I'm covered and still in this one, but it's been v. slow...)

Nice one, Steep. Good to be covered. I closed my long out at the 12930 line. Will look for another seat on the bus tomorrow.

I've been PM'd asking for the indicator I use for the arrow...

Before anyone else asks and to clarify this is EO's method and discretionary, the arrows are manually placed to show entries- no magic indicators!

Hey 131, can you PM me a copy also of the "EO's Magical Trade What You See Take The Trade When An Arrow Appears" indicator? Thanks.

How's it going man? Looks like you're still making pips, keeping pips, and repeating.

Yes, I can send it to you, and for a special limited time only just for you, will add Infinity's "Magic Untouchable Stoploss"- guaranteed to never get hit!

I'm doing good thanks, Captain, good to hear from you! I've not had as much screen time the last couple of months with the holidays, and work commitments, but have a bit more time now, and things are clicking more and more- The account's going in the right direction, but discipline as always is something to watch though. How are you doing? Still enjoying the pathfinder software? I'd be interested in hearing how you rate it, now you've been using it a while (PM me if you don't want to put it on the board). I'm still with LMAX for execution, who are great, but would love to be able to trade and manage trades from the charts.

Right on, it's best to enjoy the summer without being tied to a screen.

I have to run out, but I'll drop you a PM later about Pathfinder - managing trades from the charts is great, you should give it a demo, but it still has it's wrinkles that are being ironed out, I'll explian later.

Cheers, glad to see you are doing well.

Hi guys. How y'all doin'?

131, you're really doing a great job with EO's method, and your charts with trade examples are great. I'm sure you've helped a lot of people.

Hey Cisco, thanks for the kind words.

Here's a 15min Eurusd chart from Friday, where I've marked possible trades. I'm feeling kind of stupid, as the only one I took was the first one- I lost focus and did a lot of diving in and out (my broker loves me!)regressing back into bad habits, and missing the good opportunities. It made me spend what time I could this weekend going back over the thread and reviewing charts (always a good thing!) and I thought I'd post up the trades that I should have taken (there were more, but these are the ones I would have taken). I don't want to talk through them one by one, as they are fairly self explanatory.

The 3rd arrow was a cracker and so obvious- can't figure out why I didn't take it, or even see it for that matter- a fake break of TL formed a pinbar that closed under 4hr resistance and TL- so sell either immediately on the open of the next candle, or in the wick of the pin would have been good with SL just above the wick. The second candle then formed a tweezer top hammer, (a slap you in the face with a wet kipper trade!) so another valid entry could have been in the third candle, and it would have been good for about 80 pips.

As a result of this, I'm been trying to clean up my charts a bit as I don't want to suffer information overload. I removed the indicator recent SR (lazy way of plotting S+R!) which I think is fine for charts that I'm not looking to trade, but not great for my main trading charts as I think it is not always clear where it's getting the lines from, can miss some important ones, and anyway it's always better to do it yourself.

I've thought about removing my pivots as well as they are not in the method, but do use them a lot (the 4th arrow on the chart was a daily pivot reversal +50%fib+ ma's) but the jury's out on them for now. It should be enough just using S/R and ma's, and maybe having too many lines influences me too enter and exit too much.

Anyway, it's given some things to think about, and as with so many things in life, less is more.
