A potential trap I'm watching for.

Trend line traders will look to buy the retest but the real demand levels are lower (exactly where the stops are).

I think it is a side effect here. There is only point to trick market if they are really heavily one sided.

Just big leverage bank's algos competing against each other (different timeframes), getting fast in and out.
They think they are smarter than I am.

lol. Okay yes it has been overbought for a month according to the die hard bears (and I am one of them). However, now we are at major technical resistance on many fronts and a topping pattern has started. In a topping pattern in a market that is still net short, the reversal is not V-shaped. Instead it ranges a bit at the top. While it is in the bottom cycle of a topping range, quite often there will be many short positions in play with stops just above the next resistance above, but below the major resistance.

At this point a market maker can issue a bid large enough to start tripping stop losses. The stop losses act as additional buy orders which drive (spike) the price back up to major resistance (or just past it) where the same market maker has waiting offers.

It's not that simple and it does take many pages to properly explain the whole theory behind how it works, but this should give you an idea.

i think 3046 is mid of this current move down, traders might have taken fresh short positions + its FRYday, either bulls or bear will fried today

From 1.30000
Today's high = 1.30465 =+46.5
Today's low = 1.29540 =-46.0
and now heading back to 1.30000

If Ardabil was aiming this symmetry it's an art.
