Stoch-MTF:
MTF Stochastic with linear interpolation between bars on the higher time-frames.

thank you Xaphod. it makes M15 overlay so easy to read and judge. and when the matrix sends an opposite signal to continue the current trend, it makes it easy to accept losses too and recup losses and even profit from the brand new position!

it even performs so well on ranging day like today! i am truly thankful for this

I have 5M & 15M charts active and overlay Current TF Stoch with next higher TF stoch

The signals these two give, alone are truely exceptional !!

Xaphod I cant add more pairs on matrix window...I type what pair I wanna see there but when I press OK nothing happens....the indicator only show 4 pairs for me

Which indicator? The matrix indicator 'gmts-matrix.mq4' only works on the pair of the chart it is placed on. You can use multiple instances if they are set to different time-frames.

Not sure if this has been covered before, but at least on my platforms, for the 'Matrix-Signals' to work, the "Allow DLL" box must be ticked in the 'Common' Tab.

Yes, quite right. the 'Matrix-Signals' needs dll's allowed to work. Thanks again for helping out.

I see now it was the 'Matrix-Signals' the post was about. I realize that there is a language barrier however if one is unable to even state which indicator one needs help with then one cannot expect much help. The 'GMTS-Matrix' is a Matrix, the 'GMTS-Dash' is a Matrix and the 'Matrix-signals' is a Matrix too.

The only reason for the stated problem I can think of is an incorrect input parameter string. The symbols must be comma separated and whatever your broker has set them to.

All working fine here with the DLL allowed and yes, single comma (no extra space) between the symbols. Great job (yet) again.

Hi Xaphod,

Firstly, thanks for the great set of indicators - awesome!

Something I've noticed with the new MTF Stoch ... for me, when I loaded it tonight, set to show m15, it just wasn't matching the stoch on the m15 chart. In particular, the lows were a lot lower than the "true" m15 stoch and/or the older MTF stoch I was using.

I've discovered it's to do with the setting PriceField which was set to 1, whereas on the other MTF Stoch I'd been using previously it was set to 0. I'm guessing 0 = Low / High and 1 = Close (or something like that?).

It might be intentional or it might not be, but just something of folks to be aware of if they're wondering why it doesn't match.
1 pip at a time ... if the entries are strong, the rest will follow ...

what are the best settings for a M5 timeframe of Stoch-MTF indicator? I'm trying and trying, but it gives too many false signals...

and when do you guys open trades? when the lines cross or when they change color?

Please dont just think of 5M TF, you MUST consider HTFs !!

You wont be profitable if you just look at a 5M TF chart.

Genesis settings 11,3,3

I always have 15M & 5M chart active, splitting the screen 50/50, and refer to H1 chart every hour, and H4 chart every 4 hours

I overlay the HTF stoch and the current TF stoch

When the HTF stoch is strong in one direction, and the current TF stoch pullsback and then trade when it pivots back in the direction of the HTF stoch.

As long as Genesis tape all lines up over both TFs & next HTF (preferably with Genesis arrows).

The higher the TF and the larger the pullback in stochs the greater the profit potential

Just as Freakout... Stochs remains an issue for me(Genesis Matrix Trading System is the best strategy i ever try but somehow there is "something missing" in order for me to master it...)

Below is exactly,how i setup my chart ( i trade mostly on M15...if i master it maybe i will trade it on M5)
Feel free to comment, i need to know that i did everything right?

I could spoonfeed, then you might not learn. (cruel to be kind )

You need to go to page1, copy all files out of the Zip with the genesis template and load !!

You chart does not have any stochs on it.

I overlay current TF stoch, with the MTF stoch indi, and voila !!

Also your chart does not have the latest MTF arrows or the Genesis dash, I set that to H4, H1, 15M, 5M

And your chart doesnt appear to have pivot points

First let me thank Xaphod for his hard work.

I found this thread today, opened a fresh chart and installed everything.
First impression: Extremely promising.

After getting a signal from "MATRIX SIGNALS" even Target 1-3 lines as well as S/R lines were printed within the chart. Super!!!

Unfortunately I got these Target and S/L recommendations only at one single time and never again. I refreshed the chart, deleted the "objects", nothing helped. Am I doing something wrong? Does someone have a suggestion for this problem because I loved the function from the first minute ( okay, I loved it too because all Targets 1-3 were hit!!! ).

Yes, you're right about the Genesis Dash & the Pivots

I'm using GMTS-Tape and.... Stoch-Tape (in histogram; Stoch -Tape also reflecting what happen in the higher time frame)
Maybe you should read again post #54 by Olivierforex, there you'll read his comment about me duplicating indicators into my chart (i'm just another noobie with miniscule amount of brain inside my head)

Just bear in mind that your H1 Stoch did not actually Close green until the candle after your blue signal line (it takes 4 x M15 bars to make a full H1 signal on a M15 chart).
That's the only 'problem' with MTF Histogram indicator: when you backtest you have to forever remember about this 'discrepancy' that make the higher TF look better than what it is by looking like it generated a signal earlier than what it really did.
This is now easier to spot because of Xaphod's line separator (in white) but I can't help wondering how many people still miss this?!
Last but not least, I think that questions about trade setups should be asked in the main Genesis thread, not on Xaphod's.
