It's astonishing that some called to short this yesterday evening and mentioned 77.00 as take profit. U-n-b-e-l-i-e-v-a-b-l-e !

Holding longs in this pair

Never traded this pair.still it has been good for me as I got in on the spike down 77.125

Do you think it will go to 80.000

If so I may as well wait until it does

Todays daily bar closing will tell us more about current situation. We are at corrected resistance trend line, breaking it would rather speed up bullish movement at U/J. Now both technicall and fundamental aspects are in favor of U/J going up. At 1h and 4h we have broken 200 sma, also 78.90-79.0 resistance were taken, a daily and weakly we have reversal pattern. The most importan test will be at 79.60 and i can open way above 80.

I am still long, targeting 84.00 in a long term No need to hurry

Hi,

I agree with your views , the statement from the Governer of BOJ ( see FF News ) reiterates that we can also expect BOJ action to keep the Yen not too strong . Ever imagined who originated that huge spike in USD JPY pair yesterday ))))

I guess will slowly inch up to the level BOJ is comfortable in their perception . Time frame to reach 80 ? Any views ????

That paid off really nicely but I closed a rather large long at 79.184 ,will probably regret closing prematurely but I anticipate now that the news is out there will be a small 30-40 pip retracement before upward momentum picks up again , looking to enter at 77.80 again targeting 80.60.

Still have my G/J going though and its looking nice with over 820 pips in the green.

makes no sense, so many players out there were calling for the BoJ to do nothing until Oct, the expectation was that the BoJ would act in Oct; this is a surprise somewhat, and we only get this kind of movement? ridiculous....at least it's not the equity market so I can't say it's being manipulated

This pair surely is dominated by mafias already. They want BOJ to intervene so until then this pair keeps going south no matter what fundamental reasons come into play. Totally fucked up.
