monthly trend is up now imo

above 1.3080/90 is monthly bull and we closed above it last week

sure its not with a lot of conviction.. above 1.35 of course would be monthly bull no doubt, but i like 1.3080 for monthly bull (and not at all because it was the last R level, its a monthly level we closed above last week)

closed short @ 42 for -2

too much whipsaw for me, scalping 5-10 pips only the rest of the day, i dare not take a short position for more than a scalp

out my nzd/cad long -24 take the good wit the bad still holdn the rest. looks like eur/usd andd usd/chf can start moving again usd buyin not so hi eurusd up with trend and usd/chf down with its trend back to normal

its crazy the amount of ego the markets bring out of people...

and its funny because nothing will kill your account quicker than ego in this market

NOTHING

that feeling of "oh won a trade! so i can just keep trading all day long at any time, and ill win!"

be very nimble with your setups and entries. you could make 2000 pips in a year (considered a great year for a money manager) and have 90% winners if you only took like 50 trades a year, because you had that much confidence in each one.

I've taken this trade based on a daily basis.
Aiming at 0,986x first...and above parity next.

Over the next few hours i can't tell. We need eurusd help with a move down.
But chfjpy is hitting resistance multiple times...risk may turn off.

yes agreed very difficult to define trend, each time can zoom and can change, but still think daily is down with her now at resistance will get a chart in a minute

Ok thank you. Too risky to keep my cj short,bcz the yen is unpredictable and could fly at any time.

my goodness yes.

id be 2 or 3x more profitable if i didnt countertrend trade AT ALL this year. i thought i was good at it, and sometimes i actually am, the problem is the timing and stop outs. when counter trending, the chance of getting stopped out is far too great, as the market retests the resistance level many times (such as we have seen in the last couple hours on EU)

its almost addicting to try and countertrend trade (yeah im outsmarting everyone!!)

goal for 2013 is ZERO counter trend trades except for very tight stop entries when we get topping formations, or double dojis for example
