There is no way anybody could have known 100% for sure what the outcome could be. But regardless, I'm glad you were profitable with your trades!

I am still learning how to read the Cot report. Just watched a video about it on youtube.

I am slow learner.. so little by little it is sinking in. Since that report is a lagging indicator.. not sure how it will work with real time price action. As of last Tuesday.. non-commercial speculators were very heavy long on the AUD/USD long and very strong on the EUR/USD short. Just something to ponder for now.

Been watching the weekend rates on the Aussie and a couple of other pairs. The Aussie is now trading at 1.05445 (ask price). So, from its peak it has dropped 81.2 pips. So, now it is below the opening ask price of Friday which was 1.05471. So, it should be interesting to see where it will be when the major liquidity providers come back on line in the next 12 hours or less. If it stays at that price then we will get a gap down of 2.6 pips on the ask. During the weekend it did pop up to 1.0578. The highest that I saw it for the after hours was 1.05695. Also, with Japan having a bank holiday, I am wondering how far it will be pushed up or down with limited liquidity in the Asian session. Hmmmm.... time will tell.

AUD trading higher on Bernanke stimulus and Eurozone borrowing costs lowering, pushing USD lower not necessarily a higher aud relative to other currencies.

anyone here belives in double top at 1,06xx, despite QE3? Aussie should have been a leader after announcement ad it didn't happened..............

weekend price usually dont matter u gotta look when volume is high rest is noise. Weekend is also a time to take ur mind off work.

Where can I see the true volume on the foriegn exchange market.

Also, I relaxed on the weekend, went out with frieds, spent great time with m wife, and got some new books. I also like to use the weekend to study and prepare projections for the up coming trading week. Anyways.. it is Monday morning here. Although it is still the weekend for some people in the world. Have nice weekend if it is still Sunday for you.

Hi guys, I've had a couple of weeks in Australia researching the economy (A holiday with the family ) I didn't trade and am keen to get back into it. Looks like there have been some nice moves.
We are at an interesting point, a double top, and pretty much a pin bar on daily. Hope we all have a good week.

When you say change rate of bid.. Are you saying that when the spread widens or narrows is how an individual should calculate the hypothetical volume on the foreign exchange market?

If that is the case..Wow the market must have tons of volume about 6 or 7 hours before the Tokyo open everyday. I better wake up in the middle of the night to catch that great volume that is causing the spead to widen between the bid and the ask price.

Looking to enter a long around the 1.04814 area with a stop loss at 1.04277. Will be looking for a TP of about 1.0700, but will watch the trade as it goes. This is off the 240 min chart. 200 MA, 38.2 fib, upward trend off the daily.

per the last post we have topped out at the 127.2% at 1.0619 and have come back down to retest the lower rising trendline.

I have 1,200,000 still open but now closing 400,000 at this current level
