ECB/Fed/... are printing money like crazy, but because velocity of money is very low and people are deleveraging (which destroys money) the net effect is no meaningful inflation now. If velocity of money increases substantially or deleveraging ends or both, then the they will need to reign in QE.
I think people are upset because they know what the Fed/ECB is doing which is forcing people to invest in the market or other things, but people were burned badly recently, so they are hesitant to do so. It is an emotional thing....Ignored

DislikedYeah Norway always had very expensive living conditions. But wow what a natural beauty. I was in Italy last month and I checked housing prices in different cities & saw the higher gasoline prices than in the rest of europe, but their wages are not high enough to sustain those levels.Ignored
DislikedIn Malta we pay €1.36 per liter but it is only because it is government regulated and not heavily taxed. Also, the fuel supplier is the government itself I guess I should consider myself luck... for now anyway. In early summer it reached €1.42 / literIgnored
