Hard to tell this past month. News that would normally move the market 100+pips seems to have a muted effect.

U.S. unemployment claims may be the catalyst for a move as it might indicate Bernanke/FOMC direction.

I said earlier in the summer that I would expect QE3 to be kept under wraps until later in the year around October so the big question is will he today and what will that do.

If he does then for sure we will see an appropriate move followed by profit taking...
but, if he doesn't the move will be the amount of expectation already...
Agreed technically there is no better time to long dollar...

Fundamentally however there is no worse time.

So we will sit in this 2930 to 2880 range for a while (until Ben)

cause now its very overbougth at the downtrend resistance level.

thats because the FED is about to potentially be a HUGE supplier (of dollars)

I don't think we could go that low unless we have no QE3 for the next 6 months-1 year. Or a raise of fed interest rates... something drastic like that.

So now I heard that if BB pulls off QE3 but if it doesn't meet the expectations of the previous QE amounts, the PA will retrace but continue going up. So that's another option?
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.
