First thing they took (or I should say HE, Stalin) here in Lithuana right after WWII was People. hundreds of thousands of them was murdered and/or exiled to Siberia. All the most intellectual and prosperous first..
But enought about that for now...
EUro is dancing. SHould I short now or should I short later as I consider to leave some scalps for a longer..

There was no ratecut of US. They have been talking about it like year ago, but OhBummer went on rant in all the news, so they backed of.

Those agencies often say "bububu, we are watching you, and if you dont behave, we downgrade.".

So, 5th of August. SaP downgraded long term rating of USA to AA+. 20:13 est, to be precise.

Moody´s and Fitch keep on bugging me with login and wont let me in, bastards. Dont want to make account with them now, but I may find it elsewhere. Nevertheless, I think they keep USA on AAA rating. And Moodys just went on "bububu".

Edit: So, Fitch keeps USA on top rating, but warning in Reuters they may get cut in 2013.

Regarding Moodys, I have just registered, but need to wait till they send me email. But you have heard what PT posted. Moodys are simply talking about downgrade. Nothing happened so far.

Paying for the US deficit is supposed to be determined by the fiscal part of government not the function of the Fed via monetization.
All the Fed has done is enabled the Congressional impasse with the White House.

Certainly the minority members on the FOMC are going to be voicing opposition.
QE is now a negative on the financial outlook as increase of Federal debt is triggering a market response.

Will continue to hold open positions but getting ready to pull the plug if the USDX starts to tank.
