Hi all,

on the graph attached, the touch 10 EMA is not valid because of violation of 2 bars rule, is anyone here have a solution to take it ?

Dear Tommy,

when 35/50 are very steep and 10 & 35,50 have this very good bias and also higher tframes are super bullish yes, I think we can violate the 2 bars rule. It is like a bullish flag continuation pattern.
It is what I do.

With such a strong bull action you shouldn't be looking for shorts. Just give it time to correct and look for long opportunities. I would look for the H4 10 for example (close to H1 35, DP, RN).....

Hi guys!

I'd like to post the following trade I've made. Please feel free to comment anything you like, cause I'm new to choros and eager to learn.


Reasons to enter
- Confluence of:

Touch @ M15 35/50 MA with 30 deg. upward angle
Round Number Resistance
THV D MR1 Resistance
H1 10,35 MA - 30
No scheduled news for the next 30 mins.

Reasons not to enter
- London and/or NY market not open yet.

My Entry
- TP 10 pips, near THV's R1
- SL ignored @ the moment

My Exit
- Hit TP 10

Eventually price crossed R1, MR2 and R2. The trade had more juice but I'm happy with my 10 pips.

Im no expert, but this would have been by the rules PA trade - pin bar at 10MA.

I really slept on that trade. I had bigger expectations so I woke up 3h ago with a 9p SL hit and decided to go hybrid riding today's touch with the marvelous trend sync on all TF's to create a free trade that has the potential to aim some serious pocket money

In fact if that 15m 50 resists for the next hour and there's a good angle on 1h touch I'll seriously consider to start building

Please let us know of the results, but I have investigated Milipede some time ago. Hey, after all, if it has been proven, that trading without a stop loss is deadly, then taking a contrarian approach, as that's what milipede is, should definatelly bring some positive results. It can be effective, but not with Choros in my opinion. Too many +ve trades will blow back to your SL to make theese couple of times when the price will not come back worth it. It seems very effective with long term strategies though.

Kostas: changing a subject a little. I remember you said you grab your pips on 98% of your trades within next 2 15M bars. If, lets say, your trade hesitates for about an hour or so being a couple of pips + OR - would you just kill it as it is?

Usually, I wil kill it for a small profit or small loss. Sometimes, if I see that there is a strong reason to leave it for 2-3 hrs then I may take the risk. As a general advice for newbies, I suggest to close it if it goes nowhere for a few bars (I play in M5 mostly so a few M15 bars is a long time, if you play at M15 then a few hours should be plenty of time to evaluate if the trade is going to work or not).

kostas1 wanted to ask you a question, considering that you are already skilled in the dance and every day achieves consistency, where very few in the world are capable in this business sometimes cold and painful ...

consider today as trade, boring or as exciting when lograstes consistency?

Consistency doesn't mean boredom for me. I know that you are reading that a good trader is almost bored when pulling the trigger but for me this is not true. I still feel excited trying to see if I guessed correctly, trying to see where the trade goes and if a trade goes to hell I feel bad. So maybe I am not a good enough trader yet to feel bored.....

P.S. Joking apart, after building a good account, you get a lot of satisfaction and you trust yourself more. So stress, is less than when I was a newbie. I think it's important to start paying yourself as soon as you become profitable, because that's one of the important pieces to get confidence.

Hi Kostas, it would be incredibly instructive to have a myfxbook or tradeexplorer of your account. Balance or other sensitive stuff could be hidden. Would just be great to get a real good impression on how someone trades this strategy consistently profitable. Hope I don't ask too much and understand if you decline to do so.

1) My answer to kostas1 regarding what's written under my name was incomplete. Tight translation is "I'm the boundary of the Agora-center of the city".
But above all Agora was, is and will ever be the Marketplace(also Greek modern for Agora) which is ALWAYS at the epicenter of community along with main regional PR no matter space-time on the planet.
Also there's some distant root behind Horos(ancient term in greeklish for boundary-limit) and Choros(dance).
Needless to say that you need to remain within bounds to dance properly and in fact you have to nearly bounce on them.
Therefore it wouldn't be much of a stretch if you freely translate it as:
I'm dancing using the boundaries of the Market

2) Below is my hybrid using Choros as an entrance tool for a med-to-long trade just before I move SL to BE.
Unfortunately I didn't had the guts to built further, especially because NY openings are highly toxic, though I saw that DP finished what was left from m15/50 fight.
My results with suggested entries for millipedes took me some 900 Euro from a virgin DEMO account to get just 1 free trade that died from agony.
First attempt with a Choros high TF touch and I didn't had to even hedge for a free trade, not to mention that if I close now i'm above account BE with just 2 lots. I'm not aiming for a millipede(at least not yet) but the rule of thumb is to create free trades or small losses until you find that survivor trade and built on it.
More on my invention when I feel ready and of course on its own thread.
