Is this group dead or what. I am just starting to learn about Harmonic trading and would love to have this group start up again with more posting and leaning from each other.
One thing I wanted to know. In the picture that hopefully is attached. How are they finding the angles from the top of the pattern? I think it says 1.618 from X to D. What's the easiest way to get that number? I understand they are Fibonacci numbers.

I feel the same way now that its 2012 Mos. I would like to see more people involved with harmonics other than saying go read Scott's books. Can you share with us some of what youve learned and your journey with harmonics and fibs since this post?
What broker/chart time are you using? I'm on GO with a NY close time therefore my chart looks different then yours. Just curious. And I'm assuming that's H4 time frame as well, correct?
I just learned of these recently. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Yes. Harmonic Patterns are a great way to visualize your trading. After a while, I noted that the ratios did not have to be "perfect" in order for the harmonic pattern to be useful. After a while, you stop having to actually measure the ratios as the pattern itself leaps off the charts and is readily identifiable after spending some time getting used to looking at the same patterns for a while.

yes it is 4H chart broker tadawul, price just reach near the upper rage of pattern i.e 1.3009. short was [email protected] now again going to short.

Well, I'm a veteran trader of 11 years. I am also a technical trading, so I use technical tools that I created for my own use. I've learned that the traditional point "D" is not the only reliable place that a harmonic pattern can be entered. In fact, points "B" and "C" can also be very reliable places to enter trades with shorter hold periods. If the pattern is truly harmonic, then either of those locations must lead to a non-standard Bill Williams Fractal Breakout at some point. So, in reality, using harmonics the right way can get you a reliably early jump on Fractal entries.
