Harmonic patterns have recently grabbed my attention and while trying to add some more tools to my trading toolbox, I've been studying up. What I'd like to know is if there is any hard relationship between the harmonic patterns and volume at each point? Or any of the points? I wonder if the Better Volume 1.4 indicator that the VSA guys use would be helpful in determining this relationship. I've attached it to a lot of charts and drawn the patterns, and while I do see a bit of a relationship between the two, I'm just wondering if there is something that I haven't seen yet to make the setups higher probability using volume.

Any input is appreciated.

Ignored
It is a natural progression to look at volume as the next most useful tool to use on the reversal/breakout areas, it would certainly make decisions a lot easier if it worked.
Personally i used futures for that purpose mainly, and my results were
inconclusive, though, I'm very open minded and i would like to hear from anyone who's using it successfully.
As for the Better volume indicator, you have to be carefull what sort of data you're feeding it, as i understand it Tradestation data is best for it, great way of displaying volume it is.

There are some big brokers out there that tap into many exchanges and pools of liquidity. I would suggest checking some of them out. Many of the jr brokers all use one liquidity provider anyways which we all know who that is. haha
