Hey guys, really love the this lot calc tool,

I have a GBP based account and was wondering if this works to calculate the risk?

I understand from searching the thread that there was a mod made for EUR based accounts but I could find nothing on GBP based accounts.

Thanks in advance

been using 'easy order' for some time now and I think it's great. Of course, there's always a 'but', so here it is: when moving (dragging) the SL-line, in order to prevent it from getting hit (I know, you should never pull back your SL, but there are cases where it can be done, just always have to use rational judgement), the movement itself knocks out the trade, as if your SL actually got hit! First time it happened I was quite sure I didn't moved the SL towards the 'moving price-line', but because I hardly ever move my SL at the last second, it took a while to experience something similar again.

Until today, when it happened two times in a row - first time there was maybe 5% doubt that I might have made a wrong 'mouse gesture', but second time there was absolutely no doubt at all that the trade got knocked out for no real reason... I figure, it only happens when the price approaches the SL too closely, but then again, I've seen it approaching the SL much closer than the distance that was left between price and SL last time I moved the SL-line back (if you know what I mean).

So, anyway, knowing about this issue now, I won't be making this 'mistake' again, but still thought I would mention it here. It's not meant to be a complaint or something like that, on the contrary, I love this little gem!

Thanks, Sangmane, for making Easy Order available (for free!).

Good luck everybody

hi sangmane, i would like to change line colors and where on chart easy order opens. it currently opens in upper left of my mt4 charts and i would prefer it to open in lower right. can this be changed by me or do you need to edit code and post new version with a 'location' or corner choice?
thanks, robert fx

Hello

My friend uses this and I really like it but I am having troubles.

Seemed to download and install script just fine.

Added it to the chart.

Whenever I do any of my orders I get the error message mentioned above in the title.

I figured that maybe my SL and TP were just too close to the order so I spread them way way way out (100+ pips) but I still go that same error message.

What would be the best thing for me to do to start trouble shooting this?

Thank you

I came across this thread looking for something exactly like this. I did everything but I have the same problem. I drag EasyOrderl to the chart and nothing happens.
Perhaps I did something not right but I want to ask if instead of horizontal trend line could modify the script to buy or sell at reaching a trend line that I put on the chart. Can be ? If so, I would like to add a few things and of course to pay for it.

I've been using this great tool for a while now and it makes my life lot easier. However sometimes I only have time when the market is closed and due to this I cannot open new positions even If I see really good entry points. When the market is open it might be to late due to time zone differences. I know my question is not really related to easy order but wondering how this could be resolved? What do you guys using for this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Nico,

In EasyOrder_Submit.mq4, modify this part:
PHP Code:
        switch(trade) {
            case
OP_BUY:

price = Ask; break;
            case
OP_SELL:

price = Bid; break;
            default:

price = NormalizeDouble(ObjectGet(obj+"Price",OBJPROP_PRICE1),Digits); break;
        }
        if(
trade==OP_BUYSTOP || trade==OP_BUYLIMIT) price+=MarketInfo(Symbol(),MODE_SPREAD)*Point; //add this line
Hope this help

IF I USE STOP BUY OR STOPSELL <WHICH PART I HAVE TO MODIFICATE?

I only want the lines go to

if stop sell will go to low price previous candle and the stoploss line at high price previous candle

if stop buy the entry line will place on previous high price candle the stoploss line will go to low previous candle price.

Need Lock price order

Lock price means only place the order at same position as the candle we lock
this lock option will place on same folder (right click)

as remove window
refresh lines
risk base
Lock price order,

so the lines will repeat as same as 1st order we made ,even the previous candle has replace by new closed candle.

Hey, awesome tool.

I have been using this for past 3 months and its amazing.

Only thing is, unless I have missed something, I have been using this on a live account (mini) where the funds are denominated in USD.

I am now looking at trading in GBP and have noticed it doesnt work the same in terms of placing trades using % risk... it seems to be shortfalling it every time..

I.e. £1,000.00 account -2% risk = £20.00

Whats really happening though is actually quite a bit less than £20 risk (should the stop get hit.)

Any ideas on what I need to change as I really need this cracking piece of scripting!!

Hi,

Could somebody clarify where to find the latest version of EasyOrder? I downloaded the one named (EasyOrder_March_16.zip) which is attached in the first posting of this thread, but found that the script does not delete the entry, SL, TP lines, or the arrow at the entry line after the entry is closed.

I'm looking to risk a fixed amount e.g $50 for every trade and not a % of my account.

Is this at all possible with EasyOrder???

Thanks in advanced!!

You can set the lot size in Easy Order, so maybe you can do it this way: $50 = lot size 1.0 ($10/pip), so when you gain 5 pips, you would have gained about $50; lotsize 0.10 ($1/pip), when you gain 50 pips, you win about $50 too, etc. Can't think of another way to do it. Doing it this way, you can set Take Profit: 5 or 50, etc.

Hope this helps...

Happy trading!

In case you don't know, here's how to change Easy Order from Fixed Based to Lot size. Right click on the quantity in the window. A new window will pop up. Uncheck “Risk Based” and it becomes lot size. As said before, you can then calculate a lot size to the investment you want to make.
