Hey PT, still short that eur bastard?
I remember when we talk about if 1.25 is going to hit or not. hehe funny times... you remember? Now it's .2800

For me: One more reminder to trade what you see i.e. TA and not trade what you want to understand (FA).
Very obvious uptrend in EU and ppl shorting it. Even today ppl seem to be the smartasses and picking the top. Might work. But definately not for pos trading.

Todays move didnt seem like capitulation to me because of how we are continuously pressing the highs. Typically an overshoot with a dramatic selloff is indicative of a capitulatory move.

1.2695/1.2742 is now HUGE SUPPORT

I am currently flat the EU but holding some LONG AU positions and I have had a few EURAUD shorts get taken out at BE... still short the pair until the 1.2400 goes however with minimal risk on the table(short 3 positions from 1.2360/1.2327/1.2315)

Its hard to compare "which" trends people are following. The trend is your friend but on what TF... for guys like PT who is holding shorts from the mid 1.4's a 750 pip counter trend move is an expected retrace.

I do agree obviously intraday players have to be much more nimble in their ability to switch bias at the drop of a hat and they are better off just having a firm grasp of TA than trying to digest and determine moves from FA.

You know, your post is quite typical of a trader who only comes out to gloat when they have a win and then declare that their style of trading is the only one that works and makes subtle hints that everyone who disagrees is a loser.

If the Euro were sitting at 1.2300 right now, you would not have posted anything.

What does that say about you as a person?

that was why i was mearly trying to educate him on the fact all traders are not watching the same thing

It was the same back when the EU was in the mid to high 1.4's and all the perma bulls were coming out screaming about the EU going to all time highs and beyond.... you dont see many EU permabulls around anymore...

And frankly until 1.3500 is cracked on the EU I consider all Longs countertrend and will trade accordingly.

Yes. I like the "trend" subject. We can talk for hours and hours and each one of us will have their own mind.
Heh, There's one guy here on FF who made (trading robots) 55.000% on 1 and 2 pip trades.
Well, as long as he makes money, the trend is his friend, even this one on 1M timeframe

The trend is your friend is all hype, overblown and it's so full of sh#t, if you ask me. I'll support this argument and view for another day.
