For the whole of the modern era, people have been living their sheltered lives taking things for granted and believing they can do whatever they want to without consequence.
The world is about to learn that "society" is nothing more than a thin, superficial layer of the world that tricks morons into believing they are invincible to the laws of nature.
Much of the world still live in famine and extreme poverty. Believe me, when I tell you, it has happened, can happen, and WILL happen again to every civilization on the planet.
The USA's 400 years of history (i.e., the modern era) is nothing but an insignificant FART in the whole of human history. The world can turn to complete and utter SHIT again, lasting for generations if not centuries, before it ever recovers.
THAT is the cyclical nature of the world, and anyone who believes they are immune to such change is a fool buying into the artifical stability of "society."
The eurozone breaking up? That's absolutely NOTHING. Anyone who believes such a thing could not happen obviously has a very narrow view of things. You need to study up on human history and realize that ANYTHING can happen. Anything that happened once can (and almost definitely will) happen again.
Peace and prosperity, like everything else, are transient. There is no such thing as permanence.
Anything long divided will surely unite, and anything long united will surely divide (Google that quote).
The dumbest politicians in the world are those that believe they can maintain a state of order indefinitely. It's beyond preposterous and shows an utter lack of wisdom and understanding of how the world and the universe works.
History, science, physics, and philosophy are all proof of the cyclical nature of the universe. Human "society" is powerless to change that.
This could be the beginning of a new uptrend in EUR/USD ... just as the current economic crisis may only be the beginning of the next period of suffering and disaster (or at the very least, extreme and rampant poverty) for the human race.
