it is probably a price anomaly, double o 7

the Democratic National Convention is on tonight and Obama is giving a speech

appearances.;....cannot having the news headline reading OIL breaks $100 and front running the TOTUS.........Americans see price at the pump, and lower OIL price adds big numbers to the ec.......out of sight out of mind

OIL is very manipulated, but then again what is not these days

Hi fas007 to be honiest the oil is ok correlated with the cad right but the spread is nice here ussualy you could setup a spread trade i never did this with oil and cad but bassicly when those 2 are in past good correlated around 75 to 80% there is good change they will snapback. Close the spread now it isnt so easy because you need to calculate the volatilty according lotsize so x amount atr etc.Oil is way more volatile then the cad Also the spread isnt that huge atractive right now.
Also this 1 is to risky imo i dont know with this 1 but you pointed this out so made me look bit more 2 it.
Yeah it could be that the oil market is hinting here something but i wouldnt trade on this alone alwell roro pointed out usdcad on support back from may. But in this case on this support myslef i would be waiting for a flush of the lows and then a dailly close above or see somekind of pinbar 4h there tommorow if you wanna buy usdcad. So that would be my trading plan for usdcad. On oil if you wanna sell i would watch res around 95.80 but i wouldnt short direct in to it so fade the level it isnt strong enough in my criteria for that. So would be same scenario wanna see some price action confirmation there. That would be my plan.

Here chart on them overlayed green is usdcad red wti. You see also that the spread sometimes can extend big.

Does anyone have a strategy they use for NFP?

It has been over a year since I watched charts on a Friday, and NFP normally does not tempt me to jump in a roller coaster move.

I only have 1 hour each morning to trade, then I trade Asia session when possible, but it would be nice to pick some extra profits this week.

AUD/USD 1 HR Chart
Super slow market, but I still do 10 pair analysis to find patterns that could end up being a trade.... 1Hr to 15min is normal procedure on the hour..

I tam just watching them and when direction changes.. Ie ma/ by engulf candles or pins going different ways..then put yr monie on.. i find it with the USDx and EUROX.. both go same ways and then bang change direction.. these 2 indexes do it quite often.. when direction starts to change usual u get clear signals with the crosses

I'm telling you man, I trade this two pairs everyday, they are my bread and buther, and I have never seing anything like this since 2009 but going down, some is very, very wrong here, this two pairs never do this, never.....

......It sure look like what you are saying but I'm realy freak out, I was short the franc as a hedge and now I'm concern with this mess...
