With this type of response. THe market is going to go straight to 1.2700 or this is the one hit up and down she goes on a retest. Did not think it would restest this soon but.... Most likely it's going up and up and up...

1)h4 candle hasn't closed yet but it looking very bearish and any price below 1.2650

2)h4 closes above 1.2560 then it will be going higher level.
- we'ved had lower lows and except yesterday, also higher highs.

this is my order right now
buy at 1.2670 sl 1.2550 tp open
sell 1.2610 sl 1.2630 tp 1.2550

please feel free to criticize

For me, that profile is what I wish for daily. It allows me to sell tops and buy bottoms all day long in direction of POC/opposite extremes, and care not why, how or wth.

Most probably this is just a retest unless daily closes above 1.26300.
Holding on to short.

Ad1) maybe you were typing too slow, but right now, that H4 candle is more of a continuation of bullish move.

2560 really is important intraday level, but from weekly perspective, I am focusing more on monthly close at 2573 as a breakpoint number.

Regarding 2650 buy, if we get there, I sell so much I am going to hammer market down. Well, to be serious, imo if 268 broken, 274 is pretty close.

wow. maybe one of you has a clue.. I am totally clueless as to what just moved USD/CAD by 100 pips in a mere hour.

I dumped my short at 75 from 36 and entered long off the bounce off the 75. Half out at 48 and and the other half SL at 605.

i'm playing both scenerio
short at 1.2610 is where the price should be around in 3 hrs if this h4 candle closes below 1.2650.
but if h4 closes above 1.2650 then we have a continuation of upward movement so i buy with tight sl- and maybe a mistake having it so tight but i will live with.

thats is far from right, mommy is normal

and yes i do type slow thats right

me playing with this ranging stuff and trying out different strategies, thats why i'm asking for criticism from the seasoned traders.
i understand and take note of 1.2680.

How about the crude oil rally as a cause?
That makes sense to me.

Add to that the stable economic fundamentals in Canada (relative to the rest of the world) are making the CAD very attractive as a safe haven whilst the US QE bug is running wild.

I personally don't count on the U/CAD falling too much further. Actually the way I see it, it's at almost a perfect position for a perfect long with a perfect RR

market realizin that safe money is in canada not usd, right now specially with no qe and eu problems.

We are for the most part at support on the USDX just above the 81.00 level. If I were a USD buyer and the market wants to dump dollars i would pull my order and wait for a better price.
everyone is in USD hate mode once again so buy straw hats in winter.

Now we have to see if this level can hold or if the dollar bears can drive the USDX down to 79.00 level again. Most times big equity day rallies when everyone is high fiving each other are good days to go the other way.

I just bought some more USD/CAD but only time will tell if that was smart or dumb.
