Yeah.. I took the last two tops (spikes) as a reference.. the last one is one or two pips higher, but it's the slow chart..

Almo, looking at your chart.. I agree overall it looks bullish, but I can see a slight LH and a LL on the last candle, although it's white (I mean green/black)... I would disregard this on lower charts, but not on higher ones... I mean, it can go either way of course, just pointing this detail to you..

Note: price is trading above the previous cluster zone. Daily, weekly momentum still to the upside. I got screwed today focusing only in 4 hr chart. Looking at the price pattern, looks like a continuation. As soon as 4hr point back to north, I would look for buy setups.

First of all I feel very lucky to have a gf who is interested in trading..........

She had had alot of success trading "intuitively". She's a scalper but is very stubborn and refuses to take a loss or define her risk.

My gf is short EURUSD from 8/22 at 1.2465. LOL

She refuses to close out this day trade gone wrong.

She's a noob who despite my giving ample educational materials and advice seems to think she is above the use of stops! I have tried to help her understand some of the realities of trading but she wants to do it "her way" and will only close out when autoliquidated.

It doesn't help that I have positions on opposite her's, I just don't tell her because she gets bent out of shape.

I guess I know the end of this saga and don't want her to loose her entire account and thought that my association with her would help her avoid some of the pitfalls.

She seems intent on banging her head against the trading wall.

Any advice on how to get through to her????

If this 97 holds until Asia starts, looking at 1.2635 next run.

Dip to 87 may change it to 25.

Break and close below 85 and looking at 60/70 region to support.

I would have expected first testing the top to freak out all the sellers with small SL and then sell it down.
They think they are smarter than I am.

If this hour closes below 2600, I have 2560-70 open. That's for Asia probably.. See you later.

I appreciate your input Attila.....and your right, I don't see any sign of market direction for the rest of today. I may have to close this and sit out until tomorrow.

I see only two options. Either down or sideways for a very very very long time. If it is still in this band by the Euro session then it is possible that we go long. But, other than that I am still short all the way through the Asian session.

prob asian range 2595-2610 then upward movement in 2660-70 :/

They should change the NY session to only two hours...it seems like that is the only two hours they trade.

Also we'll have non farm unemployment change and ECB press conferce, Draghi will have a speech.

Probably we'll see a very turbolent day with lots of spikes but I'm not so convienced that price will fall rapidly.

Last week we had Bernanke's speech and everyone anticipated that price would go down but it didn't.

Maybe we'll see a similiar scenario...of course my bias is short but too many people are expecting euro to fall, this can be a big trap.

I'll wait for another retest of 1,2640-30 area and if its unsuccessful I'll enter in a short position, target 1,520.

They said lowering interest rate was not under discussion... But as they say, never believe anything until it was officially denied. Politicians are the scum of the earth.
