Man,

I gotta get outa these trades so I can split this freakin account into sub-accounts for position trades and scalping both ways.I have missed any long scalps today and it is holding me back from becoming full-time due to missing the other side of the coin!

I wish I had the foresight at the time to do this but hey, rules change and if you don't learn how to circumvent the rules this is what you get, a dumba$$ like me!

I hate the NFA and CFTC!

The New Normal in forex:
$ positive news = sell $ and $ negative news = buy $.
This is starting to get on my nerves.

Actually that is the normal market reaction in a "risk-on/risk-off" paradigm.

Risk-on: Capital flows out of US bonds into foreign higher yielding risk assets = USD negative
Risk-off: Capital flows out of foreign risk assets into USD safe haven bonds = USD positive.

Never too late. One account for long, one for short and one swap free for aux. The rules are to protect brokers.

IMO

Need to explain this a bit in the Kindergarten.

This will help a lot, In understanding the idea of news effecting price.

It will help us to read the 'news' and 'risk on off' effect on PA.

The Greek government said it is planning to launch Chinese-style “economic zones” with special tax and regulatory breaks in a desperate bid to attract foreign investment.

Hmmm. Foreign investment in a politically corrupt country that will eventually have no choice but to implement protectionist policies just to be able to feed the population coz the EU's tit will not be giving any more milk.

Sure why not? I'll invest in one Greek olive tree and hedge that investment with a few thousand shares in BMW

You know I dont draw trendlines, but imo price is consolidating in that "wtf those are not proper trendlines" formation. Goal for bears is to close H1 below lowest h4 close, which is ,254. Since bulls failed multiple times in breaking ,257, bears could make it, and therefore make wave c (4) to complete StupidTomWave pattern as well as Igor HaS @245. Lets wait for Yankees, this could still be only profit taking from intraweek longs, before NY opens.

Won't be very valuable if Bernutty continues to devalue dollar and Euro goes up as no one will be able to afford to buy until they cheapen manufacturing and end up being an average car company. If they don't then huge downsizing will occur in manufacturing sector would be my guess.

My guess is gravity will eventually take care of the oxymoron pair.

Lol. Correlation works, untill it doesnt.

Well, IMO the main problem is that most of traders that talk about correlation (in FF at least) don't understand what is correlated with what and when.

So they take for example, risk on/off as the "holy grail" or the "only" 100% inversely proportional relation in the markets.

You can see in this examples, that those traders have only been a couple of years top of experience and they have only seen the major panic (EZ debt) and manic (QEs) and "make" their own "translation to intraday"/ conclusions.... The point in this is example is not that risk on/off is invalid but the key is when this is taking place and which instruments you need to track to see it and when we are trading some other correlation (inverse or proportional) and when a currency is actually in the lead....

In simple words, correlation works all the time, the problem is knowing what are the conditions, when to follow them and when to know that a direct move has the preference .... as everything else in trading correlation is very useful info but only if you use them properly and not as the almost scientific holy grail that never changes....

Excellent as always sisse!

Markets are dynamic. As such, correlations must follow underlying fundamentals of what is driving market
