I notice that on Bloomberg radio, depression and anxiety disorder are current topics. Is there a connection between mental disorder and trading? I mean are we all nuts? LOL.

I like this potential setup and am keeping my eye on that level for a long entry as well. I'm currently looking at the dollar futures and it looks like it wants to go up and touch recent resistance and what could possibly be a double top for the dollar index.

going to be patient. had some bad trades tonight.

hmmmm lets see.......we sit in front of our computer screens - barely eating anything......most of us drink too much.....we don't see the light of day.....we stare at our computer screens......we listen to bloomberg.......we stare at our computer screens.....we talk to our computer screens......our wives and girlfriends do not understand what we do so we talk to strangers on forums.......hmmmmmmmmm are we nuts?????

I can see why you're eyeing that level.. I think 46 is more important on h1.. It was a level where it had hard time breaking and closing above + it's the bottom of a long white candle.. That's support..

that 46 level break out also coincides with the area highlighted in grey with the dollar index futures. It was there that it had a tough time breaking through, finally did and price action has finally come back up to retest that previous support turned resistance. i'm going to wait and see if that level holds for this hourly close. If it does, i'll take a long with a tight stop loss. If dollar snaps through that level it could come down 28-33 in my honest opinion.

I think that mental health is very important to be able to make it as a good trader and trading very short time frame does not help.

Of course this is what I think and not necessary for everyone. I do not pretend to hold absolute truth. I am not that naive.

I hear you. That's like last night, before going to bed, I don't know what I was thinking with my buy entry, set and forget. Way too low. But tp was right on the money. After I gained over 50% of my account in two and a half weeks, I gave half of that back to the market in two days. Greed can kill you. I'm noticing the best nights to put orders in are Tuesday nights through Thursday nights for me. GL

Morning xandi, closed the smaller one because it touched TP at 1,25550 with 40Euro profit and also closed the 2 lots one with 365Eprofit, because I'm going to office and have several meetings and can't follow it for the next 2 hours .

LOL! My girlfriend is tired of hearing my day to day forex results. Now, she only wants to hear once a month am I positive or negative.

I don't think it'll get through that cluster of bars on your chart.. It could do a discrete double top right around that area.. Just by looking at the PA.

I think you're right. If price retests that 50 level i'm taking a heavy long, tight stop loss.

edit: I think the probability of the long is higher if that 1hr candle closes as a hammer.

Long might be in order, but not heavy (at least for me).. It's all clustered on h1 right above..

On a smaller scale this configuration could mean trouble for longs unless there is a lot of conviction on the bulls side...
