Just because Communist regimes didn't work doesn't mean that Marx was wrong. Right now capitalism is eating itself, with big corporations driving small corporations out of business. Take a look at your High Street / Main Street. Ironically the only way capitalism can be saved is through massive government intervention - how's that for a contradiction?

Attile , Keynes is probably one of the brightest mind in economics we have ever witnessed. i can't recall someone who can match his contributions and the applicable knowledge he has contributed. The guy first introduction of the macro economics theory that helped USA to pull out from one of its worst recessions , and empowered the middle class that led to surplus revolution and higher production with cheaper prices. let alone , that Marshell project for the Europe post WWII was a legit son of keynes and the Social welfare state of Japan.

Just when there is economic slow down , people take on keynes

As soon as the government starts mucking around with it, watch out. yes... I agree, this is not capitalism anymore either.. It's complete BS.. but to chicky's point I prefer a padded cage while I can get one..

Try getting a job without making your personal life public............... very very public. If you are not on Linkedin, no job for you, come after one year. No Facebook, no business, No Twitter, no clients. We are all tagged and bar-coded, now let's wait for Dajjal to permanently seal our cages.

You need to stop thinking about fundamentals for short term, and think purely on what the market makers are doing, and support and resistance.

Longer term (weeks months) all that news crap means something, news and economic indicators mean shit intraday short term (for the most part).

Follow the market dont follow the news.

There was an article somewhere about the crazy shooters/murderer types not having any facebook accounts. It rings alarm bells in the HR departments these days if someone has no virtual presence.

Sure. But without predicting places of exits it is impossible to trade. Even if one makes a wrong guess, one still has to make it and then take a position. Or... be out of it.
