Daily 100SMA holding at 1.2520 but ... Bull flag target is now near the 200SMA if the 100 fails

Expect a retrace to the top raising trend line now.

hi guys hope you have all had a good day, my triggers were released and oil was ok but no major spike.(beggars cannot be choosers) and e/u was a pure babe, luckily i had got home and put the system on manual, so a good day. Helloo everyone...its been a long time as i was busy in some other projects

Just a word of caution from my side:
If this 30 pip really is the result of long waited QE3 expectation.......I think USD strength is a done deal
I see 1.20-1.17 before 1.2670

Well QE3 is already about 60% priced in. So if all we get in the end is an extension of operation twist of MBS, this thing will start to unwind before you can say "SELL".

However, for now the Hopium will continue.. BS or not. Let's see where the market wants to take this.

FYI, there is another barrier option at 1.2550.

Is this the FIFO rule? Didn't it take effect awhile ago, why is it denying me now?
Answered my own question.

This new rule was created by the NFA, a US regulatory body. OANDA and all other forex brokers are required to enforce it for US Division clients.

this rule was put in place to prevent people from hiding losses. There are some forex brokers and managers who report excellent realized P&L but they have a large negative unrealized P&L. This rule forces these people to close older losing trades and report more accurate earnings.


Looks like I can't have more than 3 orders on the same pair then.


Anyone know a non-US broker that will let me trade?

Fixed income markets returning back to pre FOMC levels. Equity markets also returning to pre FOMC level losses.

That's the thing. The expectation was already priced in. So from here, we get a hopium overshoot. Keep in mind we also have the ECB bond market intervention being priced in to the Euro. So I see a bit more up before a drop. However, caution is required here. One false slip of the tongue from one of the EU leaders, and this thing can melt down in minutes.

close the remaining position with 160 green pips and i am short on euro the moment the price stall on yen.presently u/j going down with lot of momentum its just a matter of waiting for it to stall.
add:i cant wait any longer enter my first entry short euro with a very small position

I just closed my 78.84 short on U/J for +40 pips. Holding on to my 79.49 short for now. If rising trend line holds, I will take full profit on that one also.

ADD: Just took 60% of my 79.49 U/J short for 110 pips

Thanks Swiss! I wish I was trading standard lots. Right now I am only trading mini lots due to my account being a little less than $10k.

Hopefully by the end of the year I will be able to trade full time.
