Yep. So much for my Euro shorts and U/CAD longs for now. I guess it's going to be fresh shorts from up above on E/U.

On the bright side, my U/J shorts are in the green

FOMC minutes: many members judged easing likely warranted “fairly soon”

  1. Many members supported extending late-2014 rate guidance but agreed to defer decision to Sept meeting
  2. A few officials suggested replacing calendar guidance with guidance linked to economic factors
  3. Fed viewed risks tiled to the downside due to Europe and fiscal cliff
  4. A number said modest growth leaves economy vulnerable to shocks
  5. A couple members suggested Fed explore options like UK’s funding for lending
  6. Many believed new asset purchase program could boost recovery by lowering rates
  7. Many indicated any new program should be flexible to allow for adjustments
  8. Full minutes

It’s dovish but many analysts saw this coming because the economy appeared weaker at the time of the meeting and were positioned for this type of move. Could see some profit-taking before long.

Careful... you may eat your words. There is no need to blow horns here. Rebel or not you should limit your statements about other traders to what you know and not what you assume.

and just to make things clear, I don't have an SL at 1.2510.

welp I think i'm going to quit for a bit.

Also I've been in and out of eu all day, and now when I wanted to close my short at a profit it says "Order trade xxxx must be closed first"... why now? why?

Is this the FIFO rule? Didn't it take effect awhile ago, why is it denying me now?

PA not moving up any further leads me to believe it may be a bull trap. Be careful. Wait til dust settles.

I didn't short U/J, however, my A/J short was a neutral event! LOL

AUD/USD going up. USD/JPY going down...

**I am surprised that EUR/AUD is still going up, I thought it would go down with this type of news.

close half the remaining position with 158 pips in green and will think about the remaining position.may close to concentrate on going short and built my position up

Hmmm Lowering rates? Aren't they already at rock bottom? Perhaps they want negative interest rates. Hey, borrow 300 grand from us to buy a house, and we'll pay you 3% a year compounded monthly.
