Let see how EU will react to 1.2473. This is not where I will pick the turning point though. Just to test the previou resistance which is turning into support now.

Your technical levels are very well placed and I agree with all of them. The only question is how many levels up will it go.
As I have already stated, I fully expect the 1.25 barrier to be very well defended and I am quite confident it will be a very good defense. Until such time that 1.2500 is toasted to a crisp, that's my top.
Admittedly I am not an expert at picking tops, but with my conservative money management approach, I cannot get hurt.

Fundamentally, this pair is bearish for many reasons that I care to post here right now because I've already typed it all out a few times. If you want to read about it, just do a search in this thread for the key words "Morning Update" and you can read them all the way back for many months.

i see a headline that says "Fed's Lockhart Kills Hopes Of Further QEasing"

 shouldn't that result in USD to go up and therefore EUR/USD to drop?

IIRC last time there was QE hope and then diminished, it resulted in a heavy drop

hey guys

havent been around much as these markets have been so lazily ranging

But then I got the alert we hit the 1.2460 on the EU and here I am!!

lol Playing the mini range right now between the very strong 1.2460 level and the Daily R3 at 1.2481

Pending shorts placed at the 1.2459 since we are in a very strong resistance area here up until the 1.2500. Rumored massive options are at that level so it should be a good fight to see if they are defended or not(if said rumors are true)

other than that I see NO reason what the EU is up here from a fundamental perspective.

Hi Wulf, Hope all is well. A 800 pip spike in the EU (either way) is pretty much normal volatility for this super turbocharged pair.
