All I see is H4 and D1 bearish divergence, I don't see any bullish divergence

ooh Mka, i think its the analogy of "half a dozen and six".. sorry what i meant was that i see divergence on MACD for UP and divergence on price For Down on my weekly chart..
hence was thinking thats why price is correcting for that MACD divgnce to go up.which is what is happening

hope am right?

I know what you are looking at on the weekly, but according to my interpretation, that does not count because you are supposed to measure it from one swing to the other. The last two weekly swing lows were on 27th May and 22nd July and there is clearly no bullish divergence there.

If I am not mistaken, you are looking at the lows of 15th January and 22nd July. If so, you are not looking at it correctly. For that kind of spread in time, you have to look at the monthly chart and there you will not find any bullish divergence either.

....or as our Thread Leader so ably put it....the 1,2450 barrier got buggered without a condom.........so having taken partials, I got back in again on the pull back before the NYSE Open.

Now after a good look and thinking on both ST and PT's comments and as I have a level at 2478 I'll set that as this afternoon's TP - unless we get a Lower High - the high so far is 2473 - in which case I'll exit PDQ

thats why i kept getting it wrong this while...true PT that spread was way to wide.DAMN.

Okay there is no need to get condescending about it. Not everybody sees the market the same way. The Forex market is very well balanced between bulls and bears. Sometimes it slightly tips one way and sometimes the other.

If it weren't for the bears, who would sell you the Euros you are buying.

Thank you for your insight, but now you are behind two corners for me. I thought that since MF Global got bust because of its exposure to PIIGS and since CDS on PIIGS bonds kinda stopped working (Coz Greek Haircut of 70% was not default), bond desks actually wanted to sell em.

Now this forms quite a brutal conspirational theory in my head. It wont be neither China, neither US, neither Citizens of EU, who will "save" Europe, but GS, who buys it. Dont you tell me.

hmmm, short or go long if you want to, but I never said that, everyone makes his own decision. I just shared what I was seeing in my charts and if you really mind just put me in ignore list. I just don't understand why you are upset.

There is no need to be a rebel to go long the Euro in the short term. We are very clearly in a short term rally, so why not buy if you are a short term trader?

The reason I don't buy is because I am in "sell the rallies" mode on H4 and above. (mid to long term outlook)

i am retail, the euros or oil or whatever i am buying is just nothing.
There is no "market" for retailers. It's just not there. Oh you got an ECN account and think you are trading interbank rates now? No way.
I hear about "big guys" all the time, here, on so cooool websites like Forexlive and so on.. you know how these big guys make money? Spread. With our money. Smart isnt it?

Try to buy a real oil future. Did you ever try?
