Was thinking about that also but decided against. Im trying to stick to trend-trades.

I've added to my U/J trade however.

GU is an interesting picture...that zone I've marked on the daily TF. So far we've had just supply consumption all the way up to the supply zone hit yesterday - but as you pointed out if sellers take over there is a lot of demand consumption which could cause price to accelerate if price gets down to those wick areas.

That's exactly why I took an aggressive entry. But just for peace of mind, closed 1/3 at 1.5690 (spike base) for +20 pips.

Here was an FB from earlier (not trading myself today so didn't take it) - price reacted at the 2nd time back to this supply, clear rejection closing below the H1 SR.

Bottom arrow highlights FLS - however it would be reasonable to expect this demand to have been cleared given the previous reaction.

Closed one more (1/3) at 1.5695 for +15 pips. Very choppy....

Well done, i was in this too but bailed out a lot earlier and for fewer ppips, the lowest it went on my feed was 1.1810 but i guess you get descrepancies between broker feeds.

No, it was my mistake because I was too busy with the three different trade. I closed it at 1.1815 for +15 pips.

For me it's not a case of choosing one to base a trade upon, it's about identifying supply and watching price action for signs of rejection / reversal.

Stacked zones (as Balhana eluded too) are trickier to trade. I would start by marking the zone on the Daily TF then scrolling down to find the obvious points within that zone where price was rejected (rejection = signs of supply).

I've done this fairly quickly but daily TF (marking the two obvious points within the zone - lower one being demand that was overcome and the higher one obvious rejection/supply) and M15 TF marking the areas that stand out as rejection and thus supply areas.

For me it's then a case of watching price action around these previous rejection/supply areas.

For example I've looked at the M15 and H4 TF charts at the price action around the previously marked supply areas (which lead to the start of the new trend) and marked some obvious things I'd be looking for in terms of price action.

I will come back to this (as no time now) but in terms of targets it's down to the individual. For example I'm not a swing trader, I'm an intraday trader for the most part unless I see a strong reason to look for a bigger swing like move and I trade around the H1 TF for the most part but rarely the daily TF.

All I mostly do is identify strong demand areas as initial targets and watch price action along the way. Demand zones that have been tested already have a higher chance of being broken than clean untested demand etc.

I'am back from a nice hoilday in France, some nice trading as usual performed by you guys this week. I only had one scalptrade yesterday late in the evening, some late excitement, FTB to 15m-supply, entry was on the 1m-TF, DD was 1.2 pip, closed at floorpivot Piv also at a disrespected supply.

Something from Friday's Q&A in the Trading Room.

Someone took an FTB long based on the AU 15min RBR marked below.

You have to be careful when zones are not well defined as the TF you are looking at could be hiding key information. I often zoom in at least 1 TF when I'm trading FTB's to search for information that might be hidden on the TF I'm looking at.

This is an important point because it goes against conventional teachings - LTF's can provide you with information that is HIDDEN on a higher TF. i.e LTF's are not noise, people that think that just don't have a clue how to read price movements / action.

Think about it carefully, a H4 bar that is one big green bar tells you very little - all it tells you is the net result of that H4 period, it tells you nothing about what is happening within that H4 period - that's when zooming in can tell you more information that may prove useful.

This is a useful example of how zooming in can tell you the real picture behind that M15 RBR (The two zoomed in charts are M5 TF).

Cool . LJ , when do you move to BE ??? What criteria do you use to reduce your risk when the trade is taken ???
