say if price reverse from here and break 380 i will be comfortable taking long position there its will probably prove to be much bettter trade but for the moment im sitting tight with my remaining short position

The key to a reversal lies in the long term falling trend line / channel. Right now it is around 1.2750. A break upwards of 1.2450/1.2500 is a sign that we are heading up to test 1.2750 so that is where the decision is made to place a short term long position. If 1.2750 is broken, then we're going back up to 1.30/1.31
At least that is how I see it from a technical view.

From a fundamental view, other that through irrational sentiment, the only way to get there is for the market...

Very well....
That's what we call good money management.
I took 50 pips and closed all.

I am still learning to write my own scripts for MetaTrader4 and I want my program to take automatically partial profits accordingly to daily breakeven level.
But this isn't easy... still prefer to do it manually on my Excel spreadsheet.:nerd:

Hi ST - I thought you'd like my post......if you then add the 02:00 - 03:00 EST period, I'd say that > 75% of the time, you would cover > 75% of the day's move, so for 2 hours work a day the alert, experienced trader should be able to make a rather nice income and still have plenty of time to enjoy life.....speaking of which, it's a Friday and the sun is already "over the yard arm" - in Helsinki, but what's that amongst friends - so I'm finished for the week and wish everyone an enjoyable and relaxing weekend......

I guess ST, you've also noticed the timing of the low....teehee...

congrat gofer for collecting some pips today.i never understand demo trading it means nothing to me,trade happen when emotions attach to it.say if u go with the same mindset and play with real money and positions go against u u will have 40k in ur account instead of 60k,which is 20% loss and u know very well how difficult for one to recover from that.
