as far as I am making money I am happy....( though I thought today euro wwill tank down)....but its okay.

Won't be surprised to see USD regaining at US mkt open... A move below 1.2295 would be gud for a short trade...

So it is still expected to drop? How far up do you think today? And what about tomorrow, think it might continue the downwards trend or are we already in upward trend?

To answer your questions in order

1) - That depends on who your talking to. There will be drops, but the real question is - will the drop cause a lower low? And on which time frame are you referring to?

2) Tomorrow - couldn't tell you.

3) We've been in an uptrend on the daily chart since 7/24.

Don't forget that we have very weak volume at the moment with half the world on it's summer holidays, and so this sort of price action is normal for August, I remember last year it was exactly the same. This move is unlikely to go much above 1.2337, which is the 61.8% fib, always a strong number, combined with the H1 200SMA. I'm not saying it won't, but if I was long now, with the price having just hit R1, I'd take my profits and be happy.

If all goes well, Euro will not break through back into this channel and we are back to downtrend.

If it goes badly, Euro breaks through and renders the whole week's bear-action moot.

Interesting to see Euro's direction in 20 mins from know whn US opens.... The rally wud last if Euro breaks above 1.2340 lvls comfortably.... 1.2387 remains only resistance....
Euro weak if below 1.2295 lvls....

Bear fkd up by timing. Some hidden buyer waiting for the news time and bought when real sellers stopped selling due to news.
