1.2317 & 1.2300 are the next prices to watch. If it breaks and closes past those (I'm looking at 15M charts for pa), then it will likely revisit 1.22595.

And if it breaks past 1.22595 it could really pick up some momentum as stop losses are tripped.

From where it is at now, it could either be a retrace/stop hunt before more long, or the deciding point for shorts to continue on the rest of the week. That is my opinion.

Either way I'm holding my current short from 1.2286, as I have a 200 pip stop from there and can wether it before a turnaround in my favor.

I'm a software developer by trade...I'm used to juggle with more then six variables... But I have my development tools to help me with this..

It's not quantity that is relevant, but the quality of the variables you use in trading..

Does anybody have an idi that draws vertical lines based on time? The ones I know do that on the appropriate TF but I think they only use the bar count..

I would like to be able to say set it to 30 minutes and regardless of TF have a line at the top of the hour and the next at the bottom.. and so on, multiple vertical lines on the screen.

why would you want to clatter your charts.
Click on any time frame on MT4 and its obvious.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

Its because my candles are not based on time, and I would like to be able to count how many in this particular time slot.. just by dragging the cross hair between them..
BE. was gonna take +4 but let it just do its thing. for those that want to trade for a living this is the time the chart makes you rethink that concept. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. doing laundry.

If you use MT4, the vertical lines are positioned using time value not bars. Re-check the code...look for the line that says "ObjectCreate" and "ObjectSet". Tell me what you have there...

PS: I'm not an MT4 trader, but I'm proficient in MQL.

I did software development for almost 15 years.. Extremely complex high throughput systems.. I also managed to earn a Masters in Computer Science.. but.. I've got so lazy and I hoped someone had it already done.. lol.. I'll look at the code.. Hey, I'm trading because I don't want to code anymore..

Ya most of the time it's like watching paint dry. Action always happens while I'm away from screen. Which is why I just set alerts for the prices I'm paying attention to.

I don't think tomorrow is going to bring something then this bullshit we had today , and boredom too ...

Well...I found it. There is a bit of work to get it to work though using CSV data. Seems it only wants to work with the first 240 bars.

Might be something to play with over the weekend.
