1h 200 ema still not for short, if 1h close bellow 200 ema. than it is safe to short now. other wise 1.2360-70 was the good area.

Why people think that this trend is going down ? I really don't understand that , i mean any technical analysis behind it or speculation ? In any case - why people are shorting ? based on what ?

Long also is a risk , but at least you can clearly see an up channel and new highs has been reached today - still, it could drop or flatten , but the position is based on something

based on momentum shift, along with few other things here and there.

I don't know man.. The trend can be many different ways.. I try not to bother with that.. just watching my little horizontal lines.. If it breaks one, and it's not a fake, I go to the next one, and close there.. If it's a fake I'll take the loss and go the other way.. Try to keep it simple and not build too much bias..

For all with/without trend do yourself a favor. Draw 3 lines on your H4 chart 2450, 2349 and 2259 and you've got yourself a range to trade without wondering about the trend.

May i know What is ES ? this ES bugging for long time ,i guess some equity index but i could find it
Ignored
lol mate... the ES is the E-mini S&P 500 futures. Is probably the most important benchmark not only for Equities but for all markets across the world.

My 2 cents, is that any serious trader (or aspiring trader) must have it in the screens if not for trading at least as random reference in the background (via charts or simply as ref in Bloomberg TV, Cnbc or even yahoo finance news) as what the markets is doing or how is reacting to some moves/news, etc.....

current range is 2354/2328 with 2362 as another res. up above. These numbers might decide the move of the day..

If you remember this...

Now we've got ourselves another smaller one 2327 and 2316 just below the other one.. Same play, simple.

And all these sit inside the H4 one..

I think its going down because it broke the uptrend channel on the H1 and retested it. Couldn't break back...Also WP and DP are broken...retest as of now...but it seems the bulls are out of air...

Finish of the Bear & Bull Picknick...Bear gained new strength with the news and break of the uptrend support channel...down we go...

but I'm only an apprentice...

happy trading,

The only thing really clear IMO is that in this level is a clear long with a SL below 1.2315. and a Sell Stop place in that level.
Anybody agree???? Great risk-reward ratio

NP ... the cash S&P and Dji reference will be more than ok if it is just for tracking but you may lost all the info before NY open.

Sometimes Asia and Europe will rule the markets but almost 80% of the key news/reports also take place outside of the open so ES is better for tracking how is the NY session going to open/close (very important the close) and how is it going during the US session (for intraday info)...

Seriously?

Put a 10 period SMA on a chart from M1 to upto at least H1 but even on a daily basis. OK so H4, which a lot of traders use here, is a little debatable. BTW I don't use SMA's, I use other techniques. It is just a suggestion.

Otherwise there is no question which way the trend is heading as well as accelerating.
