4HR back to neutral.. no surprise really 2375 stopped the move. of course 2325 and 2304 are important for bulls

would it kill us to get a trend going? I wouldn't even consider this rising channel a proper trend.

Why? Because its being faded so heavily

Edit: 1.23 also confluent with the new RTL (which I don't have drawn on this chart)

After two weeks of gains the EUR/USD closed lower on the week with the USD taking back EUR gains.

I am cautious about: I am not convinced the US dollar will resume it’s recent strength unless Spain & Italy bonds yields rise over 7%.

My Outlook: I expect for the USD to start the week building off of last weeks gains but I have buy stop orders in ready to reverse.

You have the answer in the chart (in my charts), but the entry point it depends of your style of trade.

Fractals are good indicator to:

Help to identify ranging or trend market.
Help to draw trend lines.
Help to draw channels.
Help to draw levels.

is anyone else watching this 1hr bull flag setup? Is the probability a lot higher or this an invalid pattern?

That's not a flag. For it to be a flag the pole would have to be made up of 1 long hourly candle. And even if you counted the top long candle as the pole, the consolidation making up the flag already past below it.

Were just in a tight range/consolodation for a few hours until the traders come in again, probly in london, or some talking head makes it jump by saying something stupid with no substance.

We already went up. A head and shoulders pattern doesn't autmatically make price jump a few hundred pips and or create a long term reversal.

But, it's looking like either way can happen now.

cool thanks, i wasn't sure. i'm just sitting on the sidelines right now trying to see which way it goes and thought maybe that was a good pattern.

asia woke up slightly. missed my long trade earlier for -12 pips. but currenlty up +8 on a bullish engulfing pattern on the m5 about an hour ago.

Asia loves dumping dollars so when it technically sets up for them to do so as well, Asia actually isn't that boring.

Otherwise its quite boring.
