Hi Guys! I need a help because of I am confused with rules.
Today's EU short setup:

I did not catch it because it was above daily pivot(((
What should I did in this situation?

you followed every rule of genesis trading to the dot!

if you think that it's a higher risk to sell above DP (and vice versa) then it's okay. you just missed the opp but did not lose any pip from your account - and that is good.

however, Tokyo (19 EST), London (3 EST) and NY (8 EST) cash equity opens are often very strong that selling above DP (and vice versa) usually pays off. but if you do it in any other time, then the risk is extremely high.

that is why, the market_open indicator is in your chart, at least, that's how it is supposed to be used.

Yes exactly. There is no guarantee in forex trading, no matter how good the system or the implementation of the system. If the trade opportunity meets the criteria of the system but does not meet your *personal* risk assessment criteria, then wait for another opportunity. Waiting is free....and there will definitely be another opportunity.

when DST arrives, you have to switch it a little. newspapers, radio, internet announce DST change anyway. it's your money so you have to be mindful. besides, it only occurs twice a year anyway.

Just out of curiosity what kind of interval are you referring too around after these equity exchange openings. Within 1 hr, 30min?

Hi RJ. He could be referring to the FXI pivots not showing up in the simulator. Something I'm also experiencing for some reason.

Maybe...he didn't reply. I didn't create the simulator so I can't offer much in the way of support for it......I thought it may be useful.....maybe it isn't. Try google

less than 1 hour from opening time. i do realize that there can be 3 signals in that amount of time, hence, the function of stoploss.

but in dimitri's case, the buy above DP tried to breach the daily high the 4th time with no success, so taking the short above DP sounded like a reasonable recourse.

one changes this (see pic). so if it was 1st week of May 2012 then that has to be updated to at least 14.

Yes....thank you. I'm not using FXI Pivots at the moment because my brokers GMT Offset is not compatible.

Your entry is valid, but I didn't take it because GU is a difficult pair to trade, as I have mentioned a few times very recently.

Instead, I took EU and EJ on the bear flag breakout.
