i have no fuckin idea what that means or why you would wear a watch when everyone carries a phone. anyways, when i trade i'm almost always in the negative immediately and for some time. even my few profitable trades i'm almost always in the negative. i have to figure out why that is and i may just turn the corner.

is trading really a profitable business over decades? Or is it just all in? I keep struggling with this question - on the other hand - intelligence means the ability to addapt to new situations once in a while - stuff keeps changing

That's an easy one.. the lower TFs do their trick on you. You go long on h1 while m5 hits resistance. You are instantly in a draw down..

Fair enough, we do not have to tell how we trade, it probably will not be appreciated. Guiding others so they can find their own way is more appropriated.

chill - watches r useless but they look good with suits - u don't no yet bwhy and how u gonna trade - time will tell

That pre break out strategy is not mine.. Anybody can find it out there.. just a little digging will go a long way.. There's so much information one can find..

I can tell you with confidence why you go in the negative each trade almost immeidiately. Like most noobs, you see a move with some momentum behind it, then you enter as it breaks a resistance, then of course price promptly retraces.

You are chasing price and hoping it will continue. All you have to do is watch waves. If you want to go short look for lower low and lower highs, then when price comes back long is the time to enter, NOT at the bottom of a short move for short, you'll just get retraced out and or have to hope thier are further waves down to put you in profit. Opposite for long.

The real trick to this is deciding if price will continue to make waves in your direction. But, if you wait for price to come back up for a short, instead of entering at the bottom as it passes a resistance, you still end up getting a better entry.

reason -testing 75 and 30m bollinger top (to the pip i might add)

need to watch 66 daily pivot and support level from London

yeah - this aint' easy - let loosers b loosers and winners b winners - takes some srs commitment though to get profitable in the end

In my experience the best BO are the one with building pre-tension (struggle) at the barrier line before the break.

The one that break strongly without pre-tension tend to be false BO (run out of breath) or at least they will pullback to the barrier line which is considered a safer way to enter because the low/high of the pullback will represent a decent protection line.

Best way to view pre-tension is when prices bounce at least a few times between the barrier line and a average (lest say a 20 ema). If market prints a few dojis before the break the better.

Keep in mind this is only a guide, nothing is black and white in trading, is all grey.
