Well, that is good. If you risked 0.5% per trade, you made your day (or just part of it)

Max loss of 25 pips per day, target of 100, if I get above 50 and start sucking I'll quit at 50.

I meant how much risk of you capital you place on a single trade?

You were talking about that you SL gets hit often.

I risk 1% of my capital per trade and hopefully I will take it to 2%.

Around 0.5 give or take. It might be less now as i'm trading the same size for a long time..

Yeah.. Keep in mind, I close between 20 and 30 trades a day.. some green some red..

For people like Attila and Rag I suggest that you look at a data feed that has not got the fluctuation in terms of pipette, the reason is because it will be very much easier to determine levels of S/R..

I was there at one point (1% loss per trade) then moved to 0.5% then 0.25%, as daily limits. Per trade now its usually 0.03-0.05%, sometimes 0.10%. I find it makes it much easier to pull the trigger on a trade.

Losses are small enough I never have to worry about lowering the lot amount to keep leverage the same throughout the day.


I also have small account that does 5% risk per day, 20% target (same trades placed as on main account, 25 pips max loss per day, target 100)


Edit: Short 995, stop 24005 (1.7 risk), reason 1.24 psych level and 5m bollinger band

Thanks, I used some of that but I realized mt4 as bad as it is, is enough for me.. I personally need all the info I can get.. I almost trade a naked chart as my eyes got so used to PA as I can spot the s/r pretty easily just eyeballing all the twists and turns. I actually need them..

Wow. That is a lot. When you go time I suggest that you read a book by Bob Volman called forex price action scalping.

diversify risks and money management is the most important factors in portfolio growth, and separate accounts for different level of leverage and risk , that's what i do as well.

my main account is only gain mere 0.3 0.5 0.7 1.0 % per trade on intra-day, trying to get 2% daily.

while, smaller account used for speculation bets small SL for huge gains haha.
