The daily pivot line seems to be stubbornly impenetrable. PA seems to be determined to keep bouncing off it.

But its already gone near there twice. If it breaks the highs it will likely go to 1.25. It's already double topped with no pierce of the highs, so my money is on down, even though I agree 2385 is a good long, although the target is only 60 pips (unless going to 1.25)

my broker shows me a Pivot 15pips higher.

do you have the calculation inputs in urs? for the high low and close

One other broker I use shows it at 2385, I don't know why, I am using the same MQ4 indicator, but I'll give both numbers respect. 2385 also gets respect for another reason as well (moving average)

This is eur/usd Daily Chart.

I won't be surprised if it goes to 1.2280.

Seems it's making an attempt at 1.2500.

I am going for a 1000 pip move north. It may take a lot of time to get there.

Serious?? Any explanation to go with why you are looking for that much?

That would be more of a reversal, not a retrace.

I don't use my broker's charts. I subscribe to eSignal through Knowledge To Action (the famous Greg Secker's company).

This issue of accurate Pivots comes up frequently. If you have a FXCM acct (a demo would work I suppose) or can get their feed, you will find that Pivots derived from their data stream are extremely accurate. I don't know what is special about them, but it been confirmed a number of times in comparisons.

good area yes but remember we have 1.25xx first before anything, then drop 100-200 pips then resume to up north 1.27xx area

We're below 2409.. That's an h1 level.. What I'm usually looking for when one of these things are broken is a reversal pattern right underneath it.. There is none right now, but there's a lot of silliness going on with the roll now, so it's hard to tell.. If it doesn't do that, then the next down is 2377.. and we'll see what it does there..

Daily still has 2461 open..
