I could have told you that even before Draghi's speech. The whole market was talking about it even 2 months ago, but then everybody forgot. Positive proof that this August market is being run by lemmings and the real pros are at the beach. Why am I still trading during summer holidays? I too should be at the beach.
Now have to decide where.

Dr Zak, first trade .50p taken at cross over No1. i took 10 pips and almost immediately went short at No2 for £1 a pip, this resulted in 15 pips. This is compounding at its simplest, so far up 200%. but there is a lot to understand and various trading methods. Take care

I say short Draghi
... I know what you mean and what you are implying but some others around definitively and scarely not .....there are even some so called "pro" V10 that are still waiting to "cover the spread" in their long/shorts Eur/Chf from April because whatever TA indication is stronger than the SNB ... etc, etcDraghi is not defending the exchange rate of the Euro. He is defending the existence of the Euro. There is a huge difference between the two. .....
On the rest, only one observation IMO on this "...Investors are clearing their books for the summer holidays so they are covering their short positions in equities, commodities, sovereign bonds, and (in effect) the Euro...."
Not really covering shorts. In order to cover shorts, the market need to be net seller. How can we be covering shorts in equities when we are in yearly highs (actually 3 year highs) ...in simple words there is nobody holding shorts except the ones that shorted the few ticks we have left on the ultimate highs (made on April so I don't think even those are holding)....
I disagree with short covering in commodities too but I agree on short covering on the bond markets which was the most exhausted of all of them....

Well I gave up and had a beer....it took 314 mins - or about 2 1/2 hours to break the 1600 hrs UK low that included the European & UK closes....unreal....the exception that proves the rule about moves at this time of the day....
U shouldn't trade past an hour after London close IMO. Brokers slice and dice inexperienced traders apart after that.
